dylanisabaddog 4,911 Posted January 4, 2019 I had hoped for a decent atmosphere when the draw was made but will the ridiculous kick off time put off the Portsmouth fans?
splendidrush 700 Posted January 4, 2019 Apparently they've sold their allocation.
dylanisabaddog 4,911 Posted January 4, 2019 Selling over 2,500 tickets for a late kick off is impressive. Hopefully it will help create some sort of atmosphere.
splendidrush 700 Posted January 4, 2019 Not sure where I read it dylan but with us likely to field a few squad players maybe they fancy their chances.
Mark .Y. 352 Posted January 5, 2019 I live down here in the Pompey area - you know they will make a noise and possibly even fancy their chances. They are top of their league though and promotion to the Champs is their top priority so not sure if they will rest a couple of players too.
hogesar 9,657 Posted January 5, 2019 All I know is I went on the site to grab a couple tickets as decided a couple of us would go down to take a look at our fringe / injury recovering players and I was surprised there were only really the upper tiers and corners where you could get two seats together. Reckon we have sold a fair amount.
Mello Yello 2,289 Posted January 5, 2019 Credit to the travelling Pompey support......considering the distance to travel, awkward kick-off time and the post cost festivities of Chrimbo and New Year.....Good effort!......
Mello Yello 2,289 Posted January 5, 2019 Anyway, it's a tenner well spent and I'm going to Carra this evening to witness what should be a competitive FA cup game - and exceedingly better than festering and farting at home just watching the utter sh!te on TV.......Then, it's onward to pub an' club to top off the day......Yummy!...... East Rider 549 Posted January 5, 2019 Probably a good turn out; 18-20,000 would be great. Both teams have scored a fair few goals this season so far. should be a cracker.
......and Smith must score. 1,341 Posted January 5, 2019 I wonder who'll be lucky enough to sit near ' Mr Portsmouth ' with his cowbell and bugle. He's an antiquarian bookseller in his other life......who'd have thunk it ?
