Brilliant going forward, but don’t offer much protection to the full backs. I guess Farke is hoping to recreate the first 30 minute performance against Derby. Personally I’d like to have seen us shore things up a little and played Trybull and Marshal instead of Vrancic and Cantwell.  Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Kanadyan Kanary 129 Posted January 1, 2019 I too think Hanley would have been the better option in place of Zimmerman, who looked slow and laboured in the last game.  I would like to see Godfrey in the right back position because he is less attack minded and can therefore cover for Zimmerman's lack of pace. Hank shoots Skyler 2,094 Posted January 1, 2019 Also surprised we’re unchanged, appreciate Farke’s hand is forced for the majority of the squad but Trybull, Hanley and Rhodes were surely all in with a shout for a start - even if only to rest a few of the others; cantwell and steipermann looked dead on their feet in that second half. Most of them did! Honestly expecting a bad result again today unfortunately, glad we’ve got a cup game on the weekend, hope we can give everyone who needs it a good rest - they clearly need it!
