Well Leeds lost and wba drew  could have been a lot worse, missed opportunity  though.

An important game today in the context of our season. Fine margins. Perhaps we are not the real deal ....great at one end of the pitch only.

Our defending has been absolutely criminal. You just can’t let teams back in like we do, terrible.

Very hard to say if they would have got back in the game under normal circumstances - genuinely think we’d have won that after Pukki’s goal, with the team and crowd in the ascendancy. Maybe it’s an excuse, but the timing of the floodlight failure gave Derby time to take stock whilst breaking our momentum- frustrating, but hey, Leeds lost and West Brom managed only a point, so chin up folks 👍

Admittedly in hindsight, but was there a case for bringing Hanley on at 3-2?

Probably time to bring him back to see if he can tighten the defence.

Well that sounds a positive thing to say Rivvo. Thanks.

If we ever needed to have a nightmare game, then have it when Leeds lose at home and West Brom scrape a draw.

We haven’t had our first choice backline playing the last 2 games. And in case no one noticed, there was an act of god today that may just have had a small part to play...

Same for both teams so we can’t use that as a excuse

Run had to come to and end and at least other results went our way.

see people are already quick to start moaning on this and other posts but fact is it’s been a brilliant season so far.

lets all stay right behind the team. We’re still in with a great chance of promotion.

No ones moaning ffs. This is a forum and we’re discussing a defeat that we twice lead, once comfortably.

Ah so frustrated with this. It’s been coming though, we’ve had more than our fair share of luck recently, and defending as we have been this was always going to happen.

Injuries have certainly not helped, we’ve been stretched to the limit and the squad has done wonders to keep the run going.

There’s not much between the top 8 in this league, and he recent gap to 3rd has probably got us all a little carried away.

6th place this season will still be a huge achievement, as gutted as we all feel right now.

As long as it doesn't alter how the midfield play, I would say that is a good call. Godfrey will stay at LB for the time being as it sounded like he had a decent game. But it sounded like  Zimmermann had one to forget, especially after being booked after 5 minutes,

You miss my point. Who do you think would have had their tails up had play not been halted? The home side who’d just scored, with the crowd behind us and the wind in our sails? That was a HUGE let off for Derby at that point - not us.

Sky have missed their 4th in the highlights but their third goal was a bit of a joke. Trybull had every opportunity to take his man out but preferred to run alongside him.

Sometimes, you just have to be a little bit wiser and if it includes a bit of filth then so be it. It is part of the game.

Starting to think that you are invincible will usually end in tears.

Undoubtably the gung-ho attitude that has got us where we are has caused today's defeat.

As said above, Farke could have shut up shop and brought on Hanley when we came back on the pitch at 3-2.

However, you can't have it both ways.

When you have an attacking style of play that reaps rewards week after week it is very difficult to change that mind set and start defending with 8 mins + stoppage time remaining, particulary as we are not too clever at it.

We have gone to the well once too often and it was dry.

It was just one of those days and it was bound to happen eventually.

Just seen the highlights. The first goal is a shocker defensively... Cantwell needs to get out of the habit of turning his back on the ball with a half arsed attempt to prevent a cross. Noticed him do it a few times now.

The third Derby goal is beyond words. So many errors.

It could have easily happened earlier against Forest, Millwall, Bristol C, Bolton W...

How on earth did can't well stay on? Is Marshall that bad? Why then take pukki off at 3 all?

And why the confusing wait for Trybull? Dervy got their sub on OK.

Plus Hanley. Had to come on and shore things up.

Poor from Farke, and it can't go on shipping so many goals.

So, we have been lucky so far then KLo?  That's what other fans have been saying.

No, we've been relying too much on being able to score the same or more than the copious number of goals we let in.
Difficult to believe that we beat Middlesboro 1-0  now !

Not when we have scored more than they have scored and conceded.
