I can only assume that Spud''s post was originally typed up sometime in mid August, got lost in cyberland  and has now appeared on this board some 4 months late.

There can be no other explanation unless Spud has been sleeping through the whole nighmare and has just woke up thinking we''ve only played 4 games.

Apologies for those that thought my reply may well have been a bit flippant.

We have not had a good start, in fact we have had 20 false starts. If people think that it is acceptable to be where we are then they are entitiled to their opinion. Personally I believe that if we cant take it (a good team) from paper to reality then the messenger(s) are not doing their jobs. Thats why I think that Nigel should go. Yes, he''s done brilliantly, but last season wasnt good and the vast majority kept their reservations about Worthy silent. This season has caused so much debate because it is the board who want to follow the Charlton Example, and we are not doing that. We should be looking at Promotion not relegation
