Hoola Han Solo 448 Posted November 29, 2018 What it says on the tin. Is Leitner going to be fit? And if not, Vrancic or Trybull? I’d go for Mario myself.
lake district canary 4,531 Posted November 29, 2018 Such is the competition for places in the team, Cantwell may be pushing for a starting place too. Krul Aarons Zimmermann Klose Lewis Tettey Trybull Buendia Stiepermann Cantwell Pukki Vrancic and Hernadez would be very useful from the bench later in the match. This but with Vrancic in instead of Trybull. Rotherham, more so than Hull will simply try and stifle us and stop us scoring. Breaking a team down is the next test for Farke and city now that the league has had the opportunity to have a good look at us. To do this we need all our most creative players on the pitch and Vrancic has a great eye and reading of the game.
Fiery Zac 1,066 Posted November 29, 2018 Obviously Mo straight back in if fit
westcoastcanary 173 Posted November 29, 2018 If Leitner is still out, I'd expect Trybull to start, as he better suits the early phases of the game management strategy to which we now almost always adhere. If and when Farke feels we have established control while still not having gone ahead, then I'd expect to see Vrancic. Same applies to Hernandez and Cantwell i.e. Hernandez to start. Woodman 92 Posted November 29, 2018 Just seen a stat about 2/3 of Rotherham's 18 goals this season coming from set pieces... we need to be on our guard but they do concede too, so it could be another high scoring game.
Branston Pickle 3,657 Posted November 29, 2018 Rotherham are going to be difficult to break down, and having Mo fit would be a big plus for that task - if he's not then I'd probably plump for Mario. They will certainly be a threat from set pieces + long throws, as Millwall were - hopefully we'll have learned a thing or two from that game.

Woodman 92 Posted November 30, 2018 (edited) No Mo or Onel tomorrow... both hopeful for Bolton next week. Two from Trybull, Vrancic, Marshall and Cantwell Edited November 30, 2018 by Woodman .

It's Character Forming 1,160 Posted November 30, 2018 It's worth noting that Rotherham are unbeaten in 5 including a 0-0 draw at Middlesboro. So we can't expect them to be pushovers.
Branston Pickle 3,657 Posted November 30, 2018 I think one problem might be dealing with the expectation that it'll be easy, as it almost certainly won't be. It has the makings of a classic 'banana skin' game if we aren't careful and drop our game level at all.
