They just can't let the past go can they? There's a thread on there about taking Connor Wickham back on loan even though he's been injured for ages. They'll be ringing up Paul Mariner and Colin Viljoen next.

Maybe Tired out Mings might want back

He's been another complete failure since he left poorman road

I just picked up this beauty from the town forum:

"I still think that us and them from Norfolk will both be in this division next season as I have now almost given up on us getting promoted and they are not likely to be relegated"

almost given up on them being promoted lol.

there's a level of delusion that exists on that forum which is nothing short of remarkable, and at times..just deliciously hilarious.

You don't really think that poster was being serious ? Good bit of dark humour.

Lazarus? He played for QPR and scored a goal for them in the 67 League Cup Final.

Pretty sure he was an aussie who used to play for Birmingham City.... 😉

If you'd have asked me before I'd ever looked on that forum I'd have said no.

Apparently Peter Crouch is lined up for January, age and wages notwithstanding. 😂

Now Crouchy has been around in his time but a last pay day at Portman Road? Do me a favour, he has his reputation to consider after all.

The fact that Wickham, Murphy, Chris Martin and now Crouch all past their best by a year or two are all mooted just emphasises just how amusingly desperate times are down the road. I'd rather have Dennis, our third choice striker than any of those and a comparison of our own main strike force of Pukki, Hernadez and Rhodes just fully exposes the gap between the two sides that is indicated by league positions.

Now Andy Carroll and Wes Hoolahan are being mentioned, with some optimism, by the delusional ones of TWTD.

I am keeping off that site until their next defeat (Wednesday?) as all the ribald laughter is proving to be bad for my heart rate.
