Binners seem confident tonight

Recommended Posts

Nipped over to have a look at TWTD and there appears to be an air of anticipation tonight.

I've got a feeling they will be trailing out in tears come 10pm.😥

Of course there is - delusion is their middle name!  But to be fair, there'd be little point in supporting any club if you can't hope for a change to work out for the best.

Lambert is certainly capable of upping their play and getting more out of them, the issue is that they are mostly L1 players and raising their level might not be enough. WBA are a good side and it'll be tough.

They've practically given the tickets away so at least there ought to be an atmosphere at Poorman Road, for once.

Their optimism is based on the fact that they won something 30years ago and they used to be a good side. Not sure if it will help them tonight though.

Like plenty on here I was torn between league table self interest and natural instincts, but when it comes down to it ahead of kick-off just want them spanked 5-1, preferably with Wessi coming off the bench for a hat-trick!

Apart from some of the fans pretending it's us, and Lambert urging them on, Ipswich are awful. At 1-0 West Brom not great either and have missed a couple of decent chances in addition to the one just scored, but there is no doubt who is in total control of this game.

They are very lucky to not be down 3-0 at HT.

Wonderful stuff, thus far, I liked sky's Ipswich style, play from back nope bad idea, kick long nope out of play, hit the big man nope almost concede 😂

That boy Roberts has run about a lot but I haven't seen him touch the ball yet.

Perhaps Lamberts half time talk will galvanise them:classic_rolleyes:

Is Lazarus the one who used to play for West Ham?

No, I believe he makes ground coffee

it's more fun to watch Spence when he 'touches' the ball

More Frank Spencer than Jordan Spence
