Interesting to see the Skins win the loser bowl.

To be fair to the Dolphins, they went for a two point conversion to try and win the game

"To try and win" - or guarantee they didn't win by calling a dumbass play that had zero chance of success.... one of the two.

He was being swarmed. If he had caught it he would have been flattened before he made a step

KIO from your comments and this T-shirt I'm nearly convinced we actually won.tshirt.jpg.7b7bce23554b2ebbac09ae63ace261e2.jpg

You did. A loss and another step towards the #1 overall pick is far mroe valuable than winning a meaningless game in a season where neither team is likely to win another game.

It's like that film the producers where they decide they can make more money off a failed play than an successful one. Still since the dolphins have sucked for many decades now it won't make any difference.

Fear not though. We have to play the Jets twice still and the Bengals who are 0 and 6. Like a girl in a ski town theres a lot of competition for the bottom.

Absolutely brutal.... this was an LA Rams HOME game! For those not in the know the 49er's play in red (white away shirts) the LA Rams play in Blue ... there a few of those scattered around the LA Coliseum I think?

p.s this would NEVER have happened if the NFL has brought back the only team LA fans care about - the Raiders - but they brought back the moneybags Rams and Chargers. If I was building a new $ 2 Billion  stadium for those two teams I would be worried.

Very true. College Football is the true American sport, packed stadiums often of over 100.000 people and they only have to pay the coaches, everyone else, players, cheerleaders and band work for free - it’s the American dream 👍🇺🇸

It is weird how such a aggressively capitalist society has sports that work to an almost socialist system.

Who else is an NFL fan in here?

I'm a big Redskins fan - currently 6-3 atop the NFC  East. Have to say, we're probably the worst team to be leading a division but all I know is misery and mediocrity in my Redskins fandom so I'm happily enjoying the whole winning games novelty, even if we are winning ugly every week.

Anyone see past Saints/Rams for Superbowl?

I’m a huge fan, been to wembley four times and going again in two weeks to see the Texans, though my team was the Oilers who are now the Titans I’ve joined the Texans as they are Houston, feel they are the true oilers.....

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has escaped significant ligament damage when he dislocated his right kneecap and expects to be back in around a months time.

Good news. I really like the dude as a player, but comes across as a decent guy too

Also the Titans absolutely suck so you made a good choice!

Yeah- the whole league suffers when it loses its best players so glad this doesn't seem to be too major.

This season has been an absolute qb massacre though, so many starters out injured at this point.

Indeed - I avoided a dislocated kneecap but came close a couple of times playing footy - the kneecap moved and ligaments went underneath it, got trapped and then very inflammed. Had me out for about 5 or 6 week both times. Most knee injuries will end up far worse so glad Mahomes is one of the lucky ones.

QBs dropping like flies and one of the best blind side protectors sits out, refusing to play for the Redskins and Bruce Allen's dumb **** refusing to even listen to trade offers (likely to be extremely high picks) for an aging, injury prone elite LT. Madness.

And the weirdest thing is that this season has seen a raft of changes to protect the QB and limit the contact! Makes you wonder by doing that it’s opened the QB’s to be more prone as they aren’t expecting the tackles?

49ers v Skins today. One of us will be happy.

Both of us are I suspect as I'm quite content for us to lose out the entire season and get a high draft pick.

9-0 final score and 0-0 at half time. What an exciting game that proved to be 😀 Still six wins and no losses and Seattle got thumped at home so all in all a good day for the 49ers.

NFC divisions looking healthier than AFC at the moment. Apart from the Pats and Bills, the rest are struggling.

49ers defence getting better each week and Jimmy backed up by Gould hasn't got to do too much for them to win.

Which is probably for the best because Jimmy isn't very good!!

But he is a winner at the moment. And I think the running game is overshadowing the offense. But I agree, he hasn't performed as I expected. But I would rather him lucky than brilliant at the moment.

I'm just thankful we don't have to support (or play for) the Jets... 🤣

Sam Darnold's face last night was a picture - it all but screamed " can I just go back to USC?"

" Darnold finished an abysmal 11 of 32 passing for 86 yards, with four interceptions and a passer rating of 3.6."

I think even I could play cornerback for them. At least I would face the right way!

That Pats defence is legit though. Not looking forward to them winning yet another Superbowl.

It only takes one loss in the playoffs, but yes very likely. Saints v Ravens for Super Bowl 😎

I'm still predicting Saints v's Ravens, but those 49er's did look impressive today even though Jimmy is still not at 100% yet.

An awesome defense and key injured players still to come back too.

I fancy Packers to make SB this year. Rodgers is playing well and their defense is better than the stats suggest. Patriots are still undefeated so I wouldn't overlook them just yet... You know what they say though - Offense wins games, Defense wins championships.... #1 ranked defense in the league right now is the 49ers.

As I'm rooting for the Skins to lose out, I may as well root for Packers or 49ers to get to the big show for the NFC.
