dylanisabaddog 6,143 Posted November 11, 2018 Baffled why Stiepermann is starting ahead of him
hogesar 10,762 Posted November 11, 2018 Purely for his physicality against Millwall Dylan. Stiepermann gave us an option up that end of the pitch.
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,035 Posted November 11, 2018 To be fair steipermann did set up pukki's first in a similar move to that which he did with jordan rhodes 2nd vs Villa...
Midlands Yellow 4,682 Posted November 11, 2018 Nice to have the option . Quality for quality.
Hairy Canary 754 Posted November 11, 2018 I think he can count himself unfortunate but I can definitely see why Steipermann is starting as he brings that drive and physical approach higher up the pitch. DF has got the balance just right with Tetty, Leitner and Steipermann all bringing something different to the team. Very fortunate to have such a class act as Vrancic chomping to get into the team but no way would I be changing this team while this fantastic run continues.
Mark .Y. 375 Posted November 11, 2018 Think Vrancic is a superb player, always seems to contribute something to a goal when he plays. hope we can give him enough minutes to keep him match fit and happy at the club
wcorkcanary 4,784 Posted November 11, 2018 He brings a level of vision and 'key' passing that we enjoyed from a diminutive Irishman, also left footed.

Woodman 92 Posted November 12, 2018 We definitely needed Stiepermann on Saturday for his physicality. Pukki, Buendia and Hernandez won't win many headers from a long ball from Krul or the CBs. The great thing is, when we're able to pass our way up the pitch, those 3 plus Vrancic and Rhodes are excellent with the ball at their feet.
pete 371 Posted November 12, 2018 Mario will not get itchy feet with the team where they are and getting the results, if we weren't so impressive perhaps not, but this is the shop window for the promised land
