Top 5pm Sat

Did it come to you in a dream?

I once dreamt I''d eaten a 5 pound Marsh mallow. When I woke up the pillow had gone.

Oooh clever, I notice that Leeds and Boro both don''t play until after 5pm, so as long as we win and Sheff Utd lose at Forest, we''ll go top, at least for a while. I like what you did there.

Would that be a "false" top though ?

Leeds play on Sun
Boro evening game
........and Sheff Utd at Forest
So if we best the other Sheff there''s every chance
ps That''s quite an expensive marsh mellow

I''d happily take that, especially after the way things looked when we''d just drawn at Poorman Road. If Lambert lost as well it would be even better, East Anglian bookends.

Nope, top is top
and there''s no certainty of the other results
But were we to achieve that, however fleeting I could only hope that the paupers trip up on Saturday,
as I''m not too sure if we have been top while they are bottom.

as it stands
with the paupers 3 points behind and a 5 goal difference they could win and still be bottom
oh dear

Norwich smash in four goals in the second half to go top of the League. Ipswich can't even win a relegation six pointer at home to a team down to 10 men with an outfield player in goal. Carlsberg don't do perfect Saturday afternoons, but if they did...................................................................

It was by popular demand (you)

Now all I have to do is find a suitable avatar, one that if down to popular demand might night be suitable for a family forum

Otherwise I have a hunch Leeds may struggle tomorrow

If so it will be a cracker v Millwall as the task of staying top will be in our hands

ps go easy on your Town friends 😰

" Lots of penalty practice needed 2

Just welly the ruddy thing. Stop all this soft shoe shuffle, hoping to commit the keeper before slotting it the other way.

Remember Johnson's blaster v the binners at the River End ?

That's what we need to go back to.

That wasnt a penalty. Just hit from roughly same distance.

We'll still be there come next Saturday

I think this deserves a bump, well done Bill !

Table still looking lovely... Of course, I never had any doubt we'd get 3 points from Millwall… :classic_biggrin:
