Huckerby is back - hoorah

Recommended Posts

I must say I thought it was an all round solid performance yesterday.

Huckerby terrified their defence again. Just like two years ago. When Darren is on form, the defenders panic and this leaves space for others.

I also thought that the pairing of Thorne and Ashton was excellent !!!

Great to see Etuhu ! Created optimism in the team, and GREAT to see a midfielder go forward at last. I was really really impressed by Wright. I believe that if he stayed the season he would be influential in 10 goals.

Optimism back at last.

My prediction for the next 4 games, 3 wins and a draw.

Agree with your summery of yesterday cheeky. Regarding prediction of 3

away wins in next 4 games however, looking solid at home is one thing,

but playing well and winning away is another. For example, I wouldn''t

say any visiting team has taken us apart this season. Palace were best

team, but Reading, cardiff and luton were all disappointing consdering

their league positions.

Unless we bomb now, worthy will be here until end of season, so even

though i''m a worthy outer - my attitude is to hope we can beat millwall

and start a winning run that takes us into the playoffs. I rather be

talking about how well we''re playing than discussing NW''s future.

On yesterdays performance id give the three of them (Huckerby, Etuhu and Wright):

Huckerby: 8

Etuhu: 7.5

Wright:7

Huckerby as already pointed out, did look very sharp and couldnt have hoped to of taken his goal anybetter. Having the tag of being the new francis doesnt look too far off of him, a big presence and got stuck in well. I thought Wright started off slowly, making a few miss placed passes. But he did improve as the game went on, and by the looks of it theres more to come.
