Team for Tuesday?

Recommended Posts

It could be a strange team - Fleming displacing the two specialist right backs we signed in the summer, Charlton replacing one of our quality midfielders also bought in the Summer, and if Worthy has any sense he will play Henderson with Ashton and Thorne on the right, another geriatric.

It does not inspire hope with three elderly players without pace, but some of this we expected with the purchases in the Summer! What we need now is a miracle!

I can''t see Charlton starting in midfield if 2 from Hughes, Safri and Jarrett are fit. Would like to see Thorne get a go up front, with possibly Colin playing Right Mid, with Fleming at right back.

This will give us a 6-2-2 formation :-) with Jimbo playing out of position on the other side

Will Wothington muck up again? Will he pick the wrong players again?

  1. Jarrett should start let alone be on the bench, hes the classiest player we have and should play on the right now that marneys gone back to tottenham!
  2. I wish we had a striker who actually wanted to play and liked the management because dean aston was a disgrace on saturday and no man lead the line for the canaries
  3. Why is simon charlton wearing white boots?
  4. Why is Colin not palying? and why is the grandad of Fleming even in the squad?
  5. Green should be put on the bench and made to know that he''s not to good for the team!

I hope Norwich City FC and the board of directors sort it out soon. I tink the only way forward is a new manager!

Wow, Christopher Moon, I note that this is your first post and apologise in advance for the slating I am about to give you.

1, Jarret is painfully slow, cannot beat people, cannot pass over long or short distances, cannot cross and cannot shoot.

2, Ashton is a disgrace, and I like eating the bacon from flying pigs. Henderson wants to play, McVeigh wants to play, Hucks wants to play, Jarvis wants to play.

3, The colour of Charlton''s boots is not in any way relevant to his performance levels, and has nothing to do with any of us.

4, Colin cannot tackle or stand in position. Fleming is 35. Sheringham is 39 - age is irrelevent, talent isn''t. I don''t rate Flem, but hey, I don''t rate Colin either. What happened to Louis-Jean?

5, What squit are you spouting?

I agree about the manager, but the rest of your post is nonsense.

I don’t apologise for the corrections I give you!

Wow mookey boy you sure are a confident one!

  1. Jason Jarret was masterful against inter Milan and other games before he was frozen out by Worthington and on countless occasions made strong and fast runs from end to end with the ball. His long range passing was a treat and his control and accuracy of short passing was impeccable.

  2. What game were you watching on Saturday boy! U obviously aren''t in the Barclay and I think you mite be Delia in disguise? Dean Ashton not once got on the last defenders path, neither beet the last defender once, he is obviously a good and proven player, however from what I can currently see his head is down, he lacks pace and his shooting is less than top class of which he is rated.

  3. I agree the colour of Charlton’s boots do not affect performance however for a defensive player and one who is proven not to be able to attack it could be debated whether he should be wearing white flare players boots.

  4. Sherringham is a proven international player and is still playing premiership football due to his class and your comparison lacks substance or any thought. Colin is a great tackler, he fast and solid and gets forward on the break, so from mine and many others opinions he is a complete full back, unlike Fleming who has been brushed aside by many mediocre 1st division strikers. Louis Jean was injured and due to Colin''s form did not maintain his place.

  5. What squirt are you spouting son! Green stood in front of his goal with no conviction and it was highly obvious from his body language that he was not happy. This is a matter, which must be resolved, and I believe Ward should be given his chance after several Green fumbles have cost us dearly!

i would think it will be:

                       green

colin    davenport     doherty    drury

huckerby  hughes       safri      mcveigh

             ashton       thorne/henderson

subs: henderson/thorne, brennan, jarrett, fleming, ward

imo our best side minus mckenzie, so there''ll be some serious questions after if things go wrong. i''d like to see henderson up front.
