breaker 0 Posted November 1, 2005 Worthy supporters can say all they like but there were an AWFUL lot of posters in the summer highlighting the lack of defensive cover in the centre, lack of a creative midfielder, lack of a PROPER right winger and lack of midfield depth full stop.Just ask yourselves- where have City''s problems come from? And then ask yourselves - why couldn''t the manager see what wee all saw? And if he did, and the board did not provide him with the necessary funds - are they now re-considering their actions? Old Boy 0 Posted November 1, 2005 Fair comment breaker - we could all see these problems. But we couldn''t come up with names of players who were suitable and available and realistically priced. Maybe they just weren''t out there.Having said that, I do think the Club should improve its scouting. It seems to rely too much on players'' agents doing the legwork.
