Salopian 1 Posted November 2, 2005 We had some luck, and we may have been the better team, but we were lucky that Cardiff left their shooting boots back in Wales! They spurned chances as good as ours. It needed only one or two to have been on target and.....We can''t rely on opponents missing chances. We have to bury them by taking our own chances. We have missed a hatful over the past few games, with Ashton being as big an offender as anybody.Perhaps it is a loss of confidence, and perhaps goals will start ot flow, but if this goes on for much longer it will be too late! Individual strikers can lose it temporarily (- you don''t become a bad striker overnight - where have I heard something like that?), but ours is collective! When can we expect Hux to score a few, of Hendo, or anyone in the midfield? Do they really practice shots on goal at Colney?
