nycanary 1 Posted November 7, 2005 i haven''t been the biggest fan of leon during his time at norwich. always felt like he tried really hard but didn''t have the class to make it happen. but now, this team lacks fight. and leon was the posterchild for us in that regard. he led by example. compeled other players to give 110% by his example. and right now, we miss that fight. with fight comes confidence. with confidence comes less predictability for the opposition to rely on and right now, we look wooden and predictable.i guess i just feel like the team really misses leon. ZLF 261 Posted November 7, 2005 The core problem with our side is the midfield who are not creating good chances for the strikers (limiting a good striker to long range shots and wingplay) nor providing the defence with enough cover. For a striker how long must Thorne wait on the bench for a chance? And why was Ashons best partner not linked with him agains (WLY?) I agree with FTFW - an on song leon is a must; but the one we had this season was not worthy a place in the starting line up. OTBC
