Yella Fella 0 Posted October 27, 2005 Just a simple question really. Does anyone know when Saf is supposed to be ready for first team selection again?

Herb 0 Posted October 28, 2005 Why would it matter if its Ramadan or not? When hes fit, hes fit. The bloke is a natural athlete.
sheded 0 Posted October 28, 2005
Is he not still on Ramadan?
ramadan didn`t stop him playing for his national team , did it ? besides which , as far as I know , there`s nothing about this ramadan that precludes him from playing football anyway ! yellow 63 29 Posted October 28, 2005 just don''t rush him back before he is ready
Cheeky Monkey 0 Posted October 28, 2005 I was only asking because he can''t eat or drink during daylight hours and his energy levels would be lower. I recall him not playing before because of it. Good to see you are all in good moods this morning!

Anyhow it''s darker for longer into the mornings now so he''ll have some slow releasing sustinance and be fine. And for evening kick-offs it''s dark now so he can eat and drink to his hearts content. By 7 Nov Ramadan is over.More importantly if Saf isn''t fully fit from the strain I don''t think he should play, we could lose him for another 3 weeks! Not worth the risk.
