The Never-President Trump

Recommended Posts

It's sad to say this but either Trump is now deliberately trying to undermine or obstruct American democracy - and incite his 'base'  as well

Or.

He's clinically quite mad and delusional.

In either event he needs 'relieving' of duty quite quickly. One hopes calmer heads will prevail than many of the current Republicans and the deranged protesters on the streets. One could add for Pence and the GOPs that "All evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

Why?

Because he lies.

Don't you think it is ludicrous for a NEWS network to be so totally biased against a political party or person?

Claims of a left bias by the BBC are a joke against the way Fox News actually uses phrases like "Democratic Lies".

Why do you always post items from right wing news outlets? You are just giving us the opportunity to cite you as the fool you appear to be.

And unfortunately Yellow Fever that is the problem ... the "good men" don't exist in the current Republican Party. A tragedy.

Here's another example. Offering $1M to gather "evidence" of fraud, suggesting leads of tens of thousands of votes could be overturned, and the Supreme Court would intervene to invalidate the Pennsylvania result - Biden won by more than 60,000.

I agree with you.

Sadly this story has been seen in many usually 2nd or 3rd world countries over history. It always ultimately ends badly. Actually Putin's Russia is probably a good example/template for Trumps actions  - and we know Trump 'respects' such 'strong' men.

I really fear for the USA and by extension the West and our ideals in general if this cancer is allowed to continue.

The way back begins with people (and by extension the people's representatives, the media) demanding and telling the truth.

You believe claims of Lefty bias at the BBC are a joke and you reckon I'm the fool?

The Himba nomads of Namibia know the BBC is Lefty bias, ffs.

You couldn't be more wrong -- The likes of Biden, Harris backed up by the entire establishment are attempting to destroy democracy -- They're working towards globalism.

Of course you would. Any opinion different from yours has to be shut down. Sometimes you should reread what you write.

Why wouldn't you wait until the courts have listened to the lawsuits and ruled upon them? That is true democracy. All I hear from the Biden side is to shoutdown the judicial process, as though they have something to fear about the outcome.

If Biden and his supporters are so overwhelming sure that there is no vote manipulation then they would welcome the judicial process to prove the cleanliness of their victory. But that's not what is happening. What are they afraid of?

They are Herman. Totally incoherent.

If they went back to first principles and explained what their fundamental principle they'd more than likely find that we have significant areas of agreement. Globalization and its impact on basic industries and their wokforce for example. But they are just stuck in this confrontation at all costs mode which means they get treated like the nutter on the street - best to walk quietly and quickly by...

These Trump supporters today are not representative of the vast majority of Republican voters. But they are representative of a troubling number of Trump / Republican voters. And the network that is now "shocked I tell you" that they exist is the same network that has been encouraging and/or excusing their behavior for years...

..... Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingram, Sean Hannity ... we are looking at you especially.

"We just saw a very disturbing sign, it said 'Coming for Blacks and Indians, welcome to the New World Order.'"

Humm, in the videos on that site I see pro-Trump supporters taunting, spoiling for a fight and hitting opponents with sticks ... but I am sure there is some minor violence on both sides, tempers are running high. However, so far it's been mostly peaceful.

Meanwhile, a reminder of who is behind a lot of this propaganda masquerading as "free speech" - our friends the Mercers, the funders of Breitbart News / Steve Bannon and Cambridge Analytica. And also backers of Parlour the new social media site that RWNJ's are decamping to as Facebook and Twitter start to block their hate speech - and what do we find there - the place Devin Nunes said is the place conservatives can hold discussions without being asked hard questions - the sitting Senator for Georgia complaining that blacks are being registered to vote. How patriotic of her to defend democracy.

Update - this specific post on Parler may be fake. But the point stands - it’s where the RWNJ’s have gone to make a new home to foment conspiracy theories and campaigns.

And here's another one - the surviving brother of the Koch twins, doing his "mea culpa" routine again I see now that we have a Democratic president-elect... wonder how long that will last, or whether that means he de-funds some of this "research" groups.

And before anyone says "what about George Soros" or "it's their money they can do what they want" the answer to that is :

Yes they can. As long as it's all of this activity is out in the open and funding is publicly disclosed.

But America (and UK too) has a big problem with "dark money" that a healthy political society would root out.

Unfortunately the Supreme Court with the "Citizens United" ruling thew the floodgates wide open on this problem.

Nope, for Christ's sake stop lying to yourself and to everyone else..

Black Lives Matter militants assault Trump supporters.

Bidens "Unity" is surrounding a very elderly couple and threatening them.

Black Lives Matter organizers surround a hotel and intimidate Trump supporters before DC Metropolitan Police show up and arrest the militants.

This is horrific. Trump supporters are being assaulted by Black Lives Matter activists and Antifa in DC.

I would say that Ian Miles Cheong is trying rather hard to claim some “robust” interactions between two fired up groups is violence - it clearly is not at that level.

As much as Trump would probably love to see violence break out so he can declare martial law, it’s just a RWNJ pipe dream.... boys will be boys. Especially when egged on by steroid induced rage and alcohol.

Not very long ago Jools was behaving like a sc*mbag supporting the murderer Kyle Rittenhouse. Yet again he displays his shameful hypocracy.

No need for a wrecking-ball, Homeland Security will do just fine. Can't wait to see them march Trump out in handcuffs (sadly he's too much of a wimp to attempt any such thing as he showed today by going off to play golf rather than hang around with his supporters- he loves them that much)

I really do think thee guys should lose their broadcast license - this is totally irresponsible sh!t.

Expressing personal beliefs, that's fine, but this is not "news" its deliberate, destructive, propaganda.

Here's some more on Parler and where it came from. It's an interesting lead up to your WSJ story on the Mercers. All of this nonsense, Trump, Brexit, Climate Change, Covid Disinfo etc, all tends to end up in the same areas and the same people.

The courts, as well as the major news organisations that typically project election winners, appear in no mood to indulge Trump. The president’s campaign has suffered a slew of legal losses in Michigan, Arizona and Pennsylvania after arguing that ballots were illegally counted.

“The Trump campaign keeps hoping it will find a judge that treats lawsuits like tweets,” Justin Levitt, a Loyola Law School professor and elections law expert, told CNN. “Repeatedly, every person with a robe they’ve encountered has said, ‘I’m sorry, we do law here.’”

Honestly don't get what these counter protesters are hoping to achieve. Trump lost, no amount of moderately sized street marches by his fans are going to change that. To turn up to 'counter protest' only creates confrontation and violence and lets the Republican party raise the spectre of 'antifa left wing violence' ahead of the all important senate run offs.
