The Never-President Trump

Recommended Posts

No end to the idiots lies. He must think everyone is as stupid as him. And have no memory.

"I hope everyone is able to remember that it was me, as President of the United States, that got delinquent NATO members to start paying their dues, which amounted to hundreds of billions of dollars. There would be no NATO if I didn't act strongly and swiftly. Also, it was me that got Ukraine the very effective anti-tank busters (Javelins) when the previous Administration was sending blankets. Let History so note!"

The treasonous Trump supporting extremists in the USA:

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/gop-torn-as-greene-speaks-to-far-right-amid-putin-chants/ar-AAUtO5W?ocid=msedgntp

Republican leaders in Congress are torn over what to do with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after the congresswoman spoke at a weekend event organized by a white nationalist who marvelled over Russia's invasion of Ukraine as the crowd erupted in chants of “Putin!”

It all shows the difficulty Republican leaders have combating the party's drift toward Trump-style authoritarianism and embracing right-wing extremism.

[America First Political Action Committee] ... is not unfamiliar to Greene or several other Republicans in Congress including Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., who has said they had briefly considered forming an America First Caucus in Congress. Another, Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., who has also spoken to the group.

The congresswoman was welcomed to the stage after Fuentes led the crowd of mostly white men into a rousing embrace of Russia, marvelling at its show of strength invading Ukraine.

“Can we get a round of applause for Russia?” he asked. The crowd chanted “Putin! Putin!”

Really?

Donald Trump made a somewhat unnerving joke about his son, Barron Trump, on February 26 when he praised his computer skills. Speaking during the CPAC event in Orlando, Florida, Donald exclaimed of the son he shares with wife Melania Trump, "I have a young son, Barron. He can make his computer sing," and proudly told his supporters that Barron can easily hack into his computer equipment.

The former president then went on, "I turn it off and I lock it, two minutes later, 'Hi Dad, how you doing?' I say, 'What are you doing?' 'I know how to get it open Dad.'"

This is why Putin felt strong. Because the strongest nation in the world elected a egoist and liar. How does the world manage to cope with such stupid messages?

The RINOs, Warmongers, and Fake News continue to blatantly lie and misrepresent my remarks on Putin because they know this terrible war being waged against Ukraine would have never happened under my watch,' Trump said.

'They did absolutely nothing as Putin declared much of Ukraine an “independent territory.” There should be no war waging now in Ukraine, and it is terrible for humanity that Biden, NATO, and the West have failed so terribly in allowing it to start.'

Trump claimed Biden's environmental measures over the last year were to blame for Russia's decades-old position as a top oil and gas exporter.

He also appeared to reference the president's June 2021 comments in which Biden claimed the Pentagon told him in 2009 that climate change is 'the greatest threat facing America,' which he  still believed.

'Instead of showing strength and toughness, they declared the Global Warming Hoax as the #1 threat to global security, killed American Energy Independence, and then made Europe, the U.S., and the rest of the World dependent on Russian oil,' Trump said.

'They laid down the welcome mat and gave Russia the opening, now Putin may be getting everything he wanted, with Ukraine and the rest of the World suffering the consequences

Donald Trump may have committed criminal acts in bid to overturn election, says House select committee

"Evidence and information available to the Committee establishes a good-faith belief that Mr Trump and others may have engaged in criminal and/or fraudulent acts," the committee said in a court filing.

"The Select Committee also has a good-faith basis for concluding that the President and members of his Campaign engaged in a criminal conspiracy to defraud the United States," the filing said.

Forgetting about personal politics - I've always thought that the most important thing that separates western democracies from all other systems is the peaceful acceptance and transfer of power from one government to the next every few years without any tampering, vote rigging or jerrymandering.

In that space both Putin and Trump are the same. Neither respect democratic principles. Frankly with the current state of the GOP,  the near attempted coup (call it what it was) the USA is/was tottering on the edge of authoritarianism if not an oligarchy itself.

Indeed! Throughout his hideously divisive presidency Trump had not a good word to say of any other leader of a democratic nation, or any of the key institutions defending democratic government and principles (NATO, the UN, EU, etc). Yet he had undiluted effusive praise for every dictator that he met. The attempted coup of Jan 6th he incited should thus have been no surprise at all given his admiration of dictatorial and authoritarian forms of government. Putin's long term survival will hinge on reversing the current strong sanctions regime being led by the US, so expect him to do everything he can to influence the re-election of Trump in 2024.

Member of Oath Keepers militia becomes first to plead guilty to seditious conspiracy over Capitol riot

Joshua James, 34, is cooperating with the FBI and has directly implicated militia leader Stewart Rhodes in a violent plot to try to prevent Joe Biden from assuming power during the deadly 6 January 2021 attack in Washington DC.

Mr James, from Arab, Alabama, told investigators that militia members “used encrypted and private communications, equipped themselves with a variety of weapons, donned combat and tactical gear” in the lead-up to the violent assault.

The charging document states he and other Oath Keepers collected firearms from DC hotels in preparation for the assault and and were prepared to “answer Rhodes’s call to take up arms”.

Authorities say the Oath Keepers were also operating as a private security detail for Donald Trump, who spoke at a Stop the Steal rally prior to the riots.

Mr James said he and other Oath Keepers were instructed to “be prepared, if called upon, to report to the White House grounds to secure the perimeter and use lethal force if necessary against anyone who tried to remove President Trump from the White House, including the National Guard or other government actors”.

Carlson is just indicative of the moment. He is a Trumpette. Trump lied for almost the whole hour and a half in South Carolina at the weekend. And what he didn't lie about he made up.

Carlson is just there to give an air of journalism to Trump's spiteful and hateful lies.

Trump news – live: Ex-president ‘responsible’ for Jan 6 says Bill Barr

Former Attorney General Bill Barr told NBC News he does think former President Donald Trump was “responsible” for the January 6 Capitol riot.

In an interview with anchor Lester Holt, Mr Barr said: “I do think he was responsible in the broad sense of that word.”

“It appears that part of the plan was to send this group up to the Hill,” with the former president’s goal to “intimidate Congress”.

This week, a court filing from the Capitol riot House investigation alleges Mr Trump and a lawyer who assisted with his re-election campaign were part of a “criminal conspiracy” to overturn the 2020 election.

“The facts we’ve gathered strongly suggest that Dr [John] Eastman’s emails may show that he helped Donald Trump advance a corrupt scheme to obstruct the counting of electoral college ballots and a conspiracy to impede the transfer of power,” representatives Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney, who chair the 6 January investigation committee, said in a statement.

.And then there is dear Nicki Haley (US's own Pritti Patel) a Presidential candidate who joined up with Trump as UN Ambassador when it became clear an Asian, female candidate would't be able to win anything in the modern Republican Party.

The stupid **** wants to stand again?

Trump mused to donors that we should take our F-22 planes, "put the Chinese flag on them and bomb the **** out" out of Russia. "And then we say, China did it, we didn't do, China did it, and then they start fighting with each other and we sit back and watch."

A true story about electoral fraud...by a Republican electoral official:

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/colorado-elections-clerk-indicted-in-voting-system-breach/ar-AAUQ8kG?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531

Tina Peters, a Republican elected in 2018 to oversee elections in Mesa County, was charged with 13 counts, including attempting to influence a public servant, criminal impersonation and first-degree official misconduct. Also facing charges in the case is Deputy Clerk Belinda Knisley.

Over the past year, Peters has appeared onstage with supporters of former President Donald Trump who made false claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. Peters recently announced plans to launch a campaign for Colorado secretary of state on the podcast of former Trump adviser Steve Bannon.

The indictment made public Wednesday alleged that Peters and Knisley “devised and executed a deceptive scheme” and set in motion the eventual distribution of confidential information to unauthorized people.

Ever been caught out because you weren't listening or didn't have a clue how to answer?

Forgeard: "What do you see happening next then? 'Cause it seems like the tensions are high. How does this all end? Is this going to be like a long-term thing? How do you see it unfolding?

Trump: "Well, and I said this a long time ago, if this happens, we are playing right into their hands. Green energy. The windmills. They don't work. They're too expensive. They kill all the birds. They ruin your landscapes. And yet the environmentalists love the windmills. And I've been preaching this for years. The windmills. And I had them way down. But the windmills are the most expensive energy you can have. And they don't work. And by the way, they last a period of 10 years and by the time they start rusting and rotting all over the place, nobody ever takes them down. They just go on to the next piece of prairie or land and destroy that."

Trump, Putin's pathetic toy poodle:

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/fox-presenter-reacts-with-fury-after-geraldo-rivera-suggests-putin-may-have-been-playing-trump/ar-AAV8sci?ocid=msedgntp

Mr Trump faced persistent scrutiny over his relationship with Mr Putin during his four years in office as he appeared to repeatedly take a reverential – or even submissive – attitude towards the Russian leader.

At a summit in Helsinki, Finland, in 2018 Mr Trump even publicly sided with his Russian counterpart over his own intelligence services on the issue of whether Moscow had interfered in the 2016 election. The Republican senator John McCain called it “one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president in recent memory”.

He lobbied for Russia to be allowed to rejoin the G7 after it was thrown out for annexing the Ukrainian region of Crimea in 2014, and repeated Kremlin talking points suggesting Ukraine, not Russia, had been interfering in the 2016 election.

The Mueller Report into links between the Trump campaign and Russia found that the Republican’s team welcomed help from Moscow and that Mr Trump may have tried to obstruct justice in an attempt to shut down the investigation up to 11 times – although Robert Mueller said there was not enough evidence to pinpoint a conspiracy.

In 2019 Mr Trump was impeached after it emerged he had tried to withhold congressionally-approved military aid for Ukraine to defend itself against Russia – as well as a White House visit by Volodymyr Zelensky – in return for political dirt on Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

It was reported that Mr Trump was planning to pull the US out of Nato should he have won a second term in office, something he has denied.

Last month he described the escalation of the Ukraine crisis as a “genius” move by Mr Putin.
