President Trump

“I wasn’t following politics closely,” he said. “I never listened to Trump give a speech, just commentary over the radio. I had the general impression that what’s wrong with the agricultural economy was that too many politicians were involved, and that having a businessman in the White House would benefit me.”

our years ago, Trump promised to reverse the economic decline of family farmers. “Hillary Clinton wants to shut down family farms just like she wants to shut down the mines and the steelworkers,” he said, during a campaign stop at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. “We are going to end this war on the American farmer.” In early 2018, he launched a series of trade wars, which provoked China,

For Volenec, Trump’s appeal vanished almost immediately. “If I had known the things I know about him now, I wouldn’t have voted for him,”

A tale that could come from tens of millions of mouths across the US. Where, like the UK, voters don't want to hear the truth and will vote for lies and false promises instead.

The problem is we all end up with what they deserve

Jeez, the go on about in breds in Cornwall and baby eaters in Norfolk, but Trump voters are worse. Like a cross between Jools and RTB

Just think Keelan - your 'brave new enlightened world' will probably begin on the morning of 4th November then I wonder where you'll turn your left wing vitriol then! Still in 'Uncle Joe' we trust hey??

Couldn't you just accept that Trump is a disgraceful person as are many of his supporters. Biden may not be the best choice but has to better than Trump.

Left wing I may be but this lying, racist, mysoginist is better suited to the Phillipines than the US.

And I will continue my vitriol on Johnson and his incompetent bunch.

As in the UK, righties are quite happy to swallow blatant lies, then repeat them

This forum has been infested with such lies - see above where Tools is talking about Nov 4th

Is that just ignorance or a lie ?

It may surprise you but we are actually in agreement with much of what you say above. I have never been a Trump supporter. He is a 'liar' there's little doubt often bare faced in fact. It's so easy to dismiss others as 'racist' these days as the majority of people who fling this slogan about have'nt a clue what it actually means. For example -  to many left wing students, if you say you voted Tory you're instantly hated as 'racist' or a '****'. These people have never studied history and I suggest they sit themselves down and watch that outstanding documentary 'The World at War' with that fabulous, haunting and chilling narration by Laurence Olivier. THEN they would discover what the word '****' really means and it has eff all to do with the Tory Government (past or present) that's defo.

Is Johnson and the current incumbents 'incompetent' - again, 100% I suspect, though, that your distaste of them is simply because they are not LA

Take a look at the holocaust, then tell me Peter Sutcliffe is a mass murderer.

I suspect that people who call Peter a mass murderer are those who have not watched Schindlers List, which was produced by the amazing Stephen Spielberg.

And those who think the much maligned Peter is a mass murderer are probably just feminists.

You are correct. In my experience, many red brick students have always been anti establishment without good reason or experience. Their support for Corbyn was based on this.

You also correct that I would always be anti Johnson and Tories. Call belief or principle if you like. And I don't have the urge to go into great detail of why at the moment. Its obvious. But I wouldn't compare Boris to Trump.

But Trump is all of the things I mentioned. And I cannot deny that I think many of his supporters are even worse than him. I still cannot believe that people have forgotten how they were as bad as South Africa as late as 1968.

And Trump has turned back the clock to those times. And using the old hatred notion that it is always someone elses fault.

So Kellyanne Conwoman leaving Team Trump isn't the worst piece of news for Donnie today.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff (her of the the inauguration hoohah) has a book coming out in a week or so and she’s revealed she has Melania on tape dumping on Donald and Ivanka and the Trump children.

I hope this is as good as it sounds. 😀

Stay focused everyone. Tattle tale books and commentary about rose gardens are irrelevant.

Police brutality and voter suppression are still happening right now. Democracy is on the line.

The story that matters is re-establishing proper governance for all the people in our countries.

This  VVVV  is the Republican Party campaign - fear.  It's all they have .... be afraid, very afraid.

The Republican Party said it is the party of law and order,  morality and personal responsibility.... oh well.

They have at least two speaker vacancies now - Bannon and Falwell - plus Eric Trump pleaded the 5th and refused to testify in a tax case in NYC. And Kellyanne Conway may or may not speak as she's stepping down at the end of the month "to spend more time with her family" - that's Mrs "the President has alternate facts"

Yeah last night was another level of crazy ... so we just have to remember that a significant % of the electorate is OK with this, and make sure that the bigger % of the electorate who isn't OK with this is motivated to vote, allowed to vote, and their vote is counted.

It speaks for itself

"Police investigating Tuesday shooting as potential vigilante attack after two people are fatally shot

"Police are now investigating the shooting that occurred on Tuesday evening during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, as a potential vigilante attack by a white male carrying a long rifle. Mobile phone footage showed a white male open fire in the middle of the street using a semi-automatic riffle.

Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that one victim had been shot in the head and another in the chest late Tuesday, just before midnight. Mr Beth said he was not aware of where the third victim was shot, but one video from the incident said someone was shot in the arm. Two people died from their injuries and the third remains in the hospital recovering from a non-life threatening injuries.

Mr Beth, after investigations reviewed the footage, said he was confident they would have the man involved in this shooting arrested soon. Eye witnesses and video footage from the shooting on Tuesday indicated that police apparently let the man with the riffle walk by them without stopping him. Members of the crowd were reportedly shouting at the police officers to arrest him, but he walked by with the rifle slung over his shoulder as cars drove by to attend to the victims.

The sheriff confirmed to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that armed people had been patrolling the streets of Kenosha that last couple nights but he was not aware if the gunman was among them. "They´re a militia," Mr Beth said. "They´re like a vigilante group."

Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, who is black, slammed the ability for armed gunman to walk around on the streets with rifles and face no repercussions. "How many times across this country do you see armed gunmen, protesting, walking into state Capitols, and everybody just thinks it´s OK?" Mr Barnes said in an interview with Democracy Now!. "People treat that like it´s some kind of normal activity that people are walking around with assault rifles."

The FBI has been called to assist in investigating the case. "

And the President gleefully pours gasoline on the fire .... remember this started with the police shooting an unarmed black man in the back seven times. For now it's a State level issue, nothing to do with the Federal Government, the President can't send anyone without the Governor's request.

But it's all part of his attempt to win an election by scaring the suburban voters into believing the country is going up in flames and only Donald Trump can save you ... all very Putinesque of him.

Screw the commentary on speeches, rose garden, and violating the Hatch Act, the real issues in America heading into this election are voter suppression, dismantling the Post Office, framing Joe Biden with trumped up Ukraine charges and right wing militia agitation and violence against BLM.

Millionaires and "local militia patriots" uniting to retain historical white power is a very toxic brew.

And meanwhile political pressure caused the FDA and CDC to cave on medical guidance this week. And apparently the CDC decision was taken while Dr FAuci - the medical expert for multiple Presidents was under general anesthetic. You may wonder why they think this will come out - the answer is they don't care.

The President and his team want you to believe the virus is gone (all speeches have it in the past tense) and if we can't make it go away we can slow down the testing (CDC) and tell people we have a cure (FDA) ... can't wait for the Putinesque announcement of a CV-19 vaccine in just a few weeks time.

..... but we will stand (even support) armed civilians shooting people...dead

BallerAlert (@balleralert) | Twitter

this boy cannot purchase or drink alcohol in the states -

but he can walk about the streets carrying, and using, a semi-automatic rifle

the above photo is of Seventeen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse who was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in the shooting deaths of two people during the Tuesday night riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Insider.com reports that Rittenhouse is from Antioch, Illinois, and was allegedly armed with an AR-15 Tuesday night. He allegedly “crossed state lines to stand guard outside businesses during unrest stemming from the… [August 23, 2020] police shooting of Jacob Blake.”

Rittenhouse allegedly shot three people Tuesday night, two of whom succumbed to their wounds. The incident was captured on a mobile phone footage and quickly went viral.

As he crossed the State Line this IS now a Federal offense that can be investigated by the FBI.

What will Attorney Barr and his boss Donald Trump order them to do?

I shall avoid making the obvious comment about someone from the US going into another state and killing people

Korea, Vietnam. Iraq, Syria....

But I will point out that I believe in Wisconsin a 17 can be charged with a criminal act under the same rules as if he or she were 18

I wonder if the righties will be demanding the death penalty

The NRA has over 5 million members out of a population of 328 million.

I wonder how many US citizens have been shot and killed by those members

What kind of sick society allows civilians to wander the streets armed with a fully loaded, semi automatic rifle in full view of the police..... and one who is 17 years old !

Rephrased they ONLY have 5 million members out of 328 million, which is less than 2%.

The other 98% are pretty fed up with this tail wagging the dog....

that's more like it

and this sickening act is what the protests are about

because it is not an isolated case - but one is an almost daily occurrence as far as police shooting black people is concerned

'terrorist' killings by loony muslims in the UK provoke massive outrage - now imagine if it was the police murdering innocent civilians on a daily basis
