President Trump

Recommended Posts

We have so much to catch up on that has not been summarized yet - including Roger Stone's conviction for purgury and the implications that the President probably committed that too in his answers to Robert Mueller's team; but breaking news.

- Minority Chairman Devin Nunes - yes him of the " but Ukraine did it" conspiracy theory speeches has himself been finger by one of Rudy Guliani's Ukranian "clients" as having held meetings earlier this year in Ukraine to gather dirt on Joe Biden, so instead of stating that any suggestion that there was such activity was fake news, he should have recused himself as he is now a material witness.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/22/politics/nunes-vienna-trip-ukrainian-prosecutor-biden/index.html

- Secretary of State Mike Pompeo - yes him with the "angelic smile" just got roped deeper into the scandal, specifically caught in a lie about not knowing anything about the firing of the Ukraine ambassador. Although he refused to provide any documents to Congress, the Courts ordered him to release specific documents that indicate that he and the President were fully aware of the plan.

Look at the video Herman. There was no QPQ. The whistleblower is in hiding. The testimony is based on hearsay. The process is a busted flush and has been from the beginning. Hunter Biden is a cocaine-snorting, philandering, crook who has gained his position through nepotism when his Dad was the crooked, child-molesting VP of the United States

It's over for Hunter the Munter.

You'd never heard of Hunter Biden, let alone passionately hate him, until the crooks brainwashed you into believing he was evil. This is "Hilary's Emails" level of disinformation to fool the idiots.

Anyway, less draining the swamp but filling it up, and you love it.

You need to explain Herman, how did Hunter Biden, a guy with no experience of engineering, get himself into the board of a Ukrainian Engineering business? What did he bring to the table?

Ya think it might be because daddy was VP of the United States at the time?

And why did daddy get the Ukrainian prosecutor fired?

So let's be honest for a moment, drop the whatterboutary and recognise the old fashioned nepotism and corruption of Joe Biden and the Democrats.

Because he headed an international consulting firm. Not every executive has to be an expert in engineering. Some have to be in finance, some in marketing.

How do we have a reasonably successful catering firm from a background of printing?

Look at Biden's history. He's been in and around US government and city institutions for years. Yes he probably does get a bit of cache from who his father is but it looks like a lot of jobs are on merit.

Liberal logic:

“I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo” - Donald Trump

“If the prosecutor isn’t fired, you’re not getting the money” - Joe Biden

Democrats want to impeach one for bribery & quid pro quo And they want to elect the other president

🤣

Interviews with more than a dozen people, including executives and former prosecutors in Ukraine, paint a picture of a director who provided advice on legal issues, corporate finance and strategy during a five-year term on the board, which ended in April of this year.

Biden never visited Ukraine for company business during that time, according to three of the people. He does not speak or write Ukrainian.

They also said that his presence on the board didnt protect the company from its most serious challenge: a series of criminal investigations launched by Ukrainian authorities against its owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, a multimillionaire former minister of ecology and natural resources. The allegations concern tax violations, money-laundering and licences given to Burisma during the period where Zlochevsky was a minister.

In an interview with ABC News aired Tuesday, Hunter Biden said in retrospect it may have been poor judgement to join Burisma’s board while his father was vice president"

I'm pretty sure you didn't start your catering business like this:

Late Summer 2006: Hunter Biden and his uncle, James Biden, purchase the hedge fund Paradigm Global Advisors. According to an unnamed executive quoted in Politico in August, James Biden declared to employees on his first day, “Don’t worry about investors. We’ve got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden.” At this time, Joe Biden is months away from becoming chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and launching his second bid for president.

The unnamed executive who spoke to Politico charged that the purchase of the fund was designed to work around campaign-finance laws:

According to the executive, James Biden made it clear that he viewed the fund as a way to take money from rich foreigners who could not legally give money to his older brother or his campaign account. “We’ve got investors lined up in a line of 747s filled with cash ready to invest in this company,” the executive remembers James Biden saying.

The former is a pathological liar, who got caught in the act of extorting the new anti-Russian influence Ukrainian government by withholding US Congress approved public money to provide him with a personal political advantage in the upcoming US elections. That’s an illegal act and grounds for removal from office according to the US Constitution.

The other was on a documented government mission supported by the US and EU to push a previous Ukrainian government to clean up its act by firing a prosecutor who had a reputation for shaking innocent companies down and not prosecuting his buddies or political allies.

Only pro-Russian trolls and corrupt politicians would want to push the story you are telling. Have you bought the T-Shirt or poster I showed you  yet? Inquiring minds want to know ......

Those are Trump's words Surfer and they are there on the transcript. 'I want nothing. No quid pro quo'

Now the Democrats might assume Trump was lying when he said that.  And Sondland admitted his testimony was based on assumption because he wasn't actually there, but assumption and hearsay do not make a case. And that's all the Democrats have.

The Democrats have control of Congress. They should use that to provide good governance to the American people and then use that record in 2020. Instead they use their time in trying to bring down a serving President through subterfuge and skulduggery.

The other point is that we do not know all that Trump said in that phone call because we only have an abridged version issued by the White House, with the full transcript - rather unusually - locked away in a secure vault. Perhaps Trump read out the closely-guarded recipe for Coca-Cola - that would explain the need for secrecy.

I heard that it was nothing of the sort Purple. Much like the Russia report Boris is definitely hiding because he's a corrupt son of a ****   not sharing with the public. Trump is simply doing us all a favour by locking it away so we are not having to worry ourselves about it as there's definitely nothing incriminating in there. At all. Obviously. Why else would you hide something except to show you have nothing to hide?

Wouldn't surprise me if the Republicans use that, it would make more sense than some of the rubbish they've tried so far.

I’m not going to put up with this revisionist BS. Those words were not “on the transcript” They were on a cheat sheet the President was holding and read our in front of the press last week.

They do actually. But the more relevant point to counteract this latest round of BS propaganda is the President has instructed anyone who has “direct evidence”, as Rupublicans claim they want to hear, not to testify to Congress, and for no official documents to be given to Congress.
Nice if you can rig the process that way isn’t it?

And if you don’t know how the US Congress works it would be best that you don’t show your ignorance. For this final BS propaganda line, the Democrats control the House of Representatives, the Republicans control the Senate, and the President has to sign off on any legislation that both houses have approved.

The Senate Leaser is deliberately refusing to even call up for debate legislation approved by the House, over 200 bills so far and counting, probably precisely so that the Democrats do not have a record of good governance to run on.

Fortunately we have a press and media corps who point out this malfeasance every day - um no we don’t and it’s a huge problem in the US that the press prefer to chase after the latest shiny object coming out of the White House.

From this morning RTB: now tell me who is working hard for the American people and who is not?

Trump is backing off his 2016 campaign pledge to negotiate drug prices for Medicare with pharmaceutical companies, drawing fire from Democrats after months of talks on the issue with Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

I guess the drug companies got to him. “President Trump campaigned on that promise to negotiate Medicare prices, and the House is going to pass a bill that does that, and he will not support it”

On behalf of the President or for his own Republican reasons, Senate Leader McConnell is blocking election security legislation from being debated. Now who is working for the American people?

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2019/11/mitch-mcconnell-kentucky-election-security/

" McConnell has largely stood in the way of increased federal funding. In June, Congressional Democrats passed the Securing America’s Federal Elections Act, which would have allocated over $1 billion to states and mandated voting machines be manufactured in the United States, use voter-verified paper ballots, and not be connected to the internet. Why? You keep telling us that Trump is doing a brilliant job by himself.

This is the Rupublican playbook, they do not believe in Government for the People, they believe in power - to stack the Courts, expand military spending, eliminate regulations and impose Tax Cuts. So they run around throwing sand in the gears and then exclaim "look! Government does not work... we told you so"  Now vote for us so that we can outsource all Government functions to private corporations and everything will be good.

The current variation on that messaging is "only Donald Trump knows how to run the country - he's a businessman" The previous iteration was - as a Republican controlled Congress we can block any proposals we want and if the (Democrat) President (Obama, Clinton, Carter) disagrees well he is a tyrant.

You see the same messaging behavior now out of the Telegraph / Borisgraph....

The impeachment hearings have shown one thing conclusively. That there was a scheme orchestrated by the White House, in which Trump played a part, to attempt to force the Ukraine government to provide supposed dirt on the Bidens, in the hope that would help Trump be re-elected.

The only serious question yet to be answered is whether Trump dreamed up the whole treasonous plan himself, and set it in motion, or whether it was someone else (Giuliani would be a possible candidate, but not the only one) who had the wacky notion, and Trump then approved and came enthusiastically on board.

Meanwhile, the US Courts are starting to put pressure on the Administration to comply with Congressional subpoenas.

Oh the irony. The Democrats have been throwing sand at the Presidency from the moment he got elected. It has been an ongoing case of smear after smear, fake news after fake news, failed attempts to screw up Presidential appointments, lies about the southern border. This thread started in 2016 and from day one you were all gloating about how Trump will soon be gone. Instead you've all been afflicted by Trump Derangement Syndrome where you create fantasies about secret scripts. Personally, I blame Jussie Smollett. Well, the good news is that The Donald will be re-elected by the good people of America as the walk-away from the Democrats gather apace, and all those policies that are making the US great again get to continue for another four years.

Not only that a Boris Johnson government will make a great partnership with the Americans and our influence in the world will rise again, just as it did in the 80's when Thatcher and Regan defeated communism. Only this time it will be cultural Marxism as defined by the British and American left that gets defeated.

Kin L. You really have got it bad. How did Thatcher defeat Communism? Reagan did a lot to contribute to its fall with his sanctions, but it was the velvet revolution that started in Gdansk that defeated Communism.

Meanwhile -

" President Trump is now distancing himself more than ever from lawyer Rudy Giuliani, claiming he did not direct Giuliani to act on his behalf in Ukraine in a new interview with Bill O'Reilly "

This is a lesson that revolutionaries and supporters or authoritarians never learn. The revolution always eats it's own children / the purges will always continue to find the "pure" / the authoritarian leader demands loyalty to him but has no loyalty to anyone else.
