Apparently they were all praying for him to be infected by Covid-19. It worked!!!

Yeah, the Globalist supporting BBC One also had a couple of Americans on QT tonight who are both passionately opposed to Trumpski...

Wake up, son 🤪

Interesting I did never took a blind bit of notice before.

It wasn’t others saying all these things it was him, not really sure how the bbc distorted that. The reason the West thinks masks don’t work is because of a book about positivity.
And abortions ? Do you really agree with that, on his instructions women being abused as they go into into an abortion clinic to remove a dead foetus.
Everyone to their own if you agree with that, but he woke me up and it seems he will start riots if he loses.
In his impeachment senators were so terrified they lied, that’s how Hitler started, he convinced the people evil was good.

Democracy at work seemed not from what I saw.

These people were on the programme last night, they get privileges and then get others to vote for him as 2/3 of Americans want abortions stopped which is this churches main aim.

I am now seriously worried about that brief case he carries with him, he has already nearly opened it once when North Korea launched a missile that somebody told him was on the way to the US.

Wake up Scrounger! You have your tongue rammed so firmly up Trump's butt that you seem to have overlooked what he thinks of the Allies of the USA:

No wonder he was actually bragging that Russia, China and North Korea wanted him to win. Jesus! you've crept so far to the right you've done full-circle and ended up supporting the Commies. Scrounger Jools, traitor to our country, just like the Trump poodle Farage.

The other strange thing is Farage and Johnson seem to think he will just do a trade deal, not what he said on there.

Now here's an odd thing that I don't understand WBB, so you'll have to help me with this.

For almost a year now you've been running a couple of threads updating us daily on the global attempts to keep yourself from being stricken down dead from this nasty coronavirus. Yet you seem quite happy to allow unborn children to be murdered in their mother's womb. That seems like one rule for them but one rule.for you. How is that fair?

Pretty much spot on. He is an evil presence that needs to be gone for the sake of Americans and the world.

Read the Economist's editorial on the election. They call it right.

So evil he has not started a single war in four years. Unlike your precious Obama who bombed civilians right across the globe and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize by woke idiots.

No indeed, he just sits back and gives the green light to Basshar al-Assad and Putin to do the bombing and gassing of civillians for him. The man is a draft-dodging coward in every respect. And he's so thick, cowardly, and pathetic that even Kim Jong-Un runs rings round him. What an embarrassing state for the world's most powerful nation to be in, out-foxed by tin-pot North Korea.

Step outside your right wing media bubble, nobody is murdering unborn children in their mothers womb, thank you very much.

If you want to make a positive contribution to reducing abortions - as most reasonable people do - you can start by supporting increased funding for high school reproductive biology education, making no-cost contraceptives widely available and better targeting financial support to woman and their families.

The Republican Party by their actions want to do none of those things, and work to undo all those things, and guess what : the States where abortions are actually rising are Republican led States.

https://www.guttmacher.org/gpr/2019/09/us-abortion-rate-continues-drop-once-again-state-abortion-restrictions-are-not-main

While 32 states enacted 394 restrictions between 2011 and 2017,3,4 nearly every state had a lower abortion rate in 2017 than in 2011, regardless of whether it had restricted abortion access1,4 Several states with new restrictions actually had abortion rate increases.1,4

This is the always the end result of "populist" slogan oriented based politics, an utter incompetence, never meeting the stated policy goal. A constant cycle of "blame and shame" of the targeted group, and never actually exercising the positive powers of government.

Brexit trade negotiations and Covid (for example the Track and Trace fiasco) current examples in the UK.

The Trafalgar Group utilize methods to increase the weighting of so called "shy, pro-Trump" voters which they argue to be underrepresented in most polls.

Nice try. I'll stick with reputable polls and poll averages thanks. If you want a draft of pro-Republican bias I'm sure that Rasmussen can oblige you too

A good summary site for polls here : https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/president-general/florida/

True, and the media environment is a major part of that, but there is a relatively low likelihood it will be a squeaker...  the shift toward Democrats / Biden is happening in every State, and Trump needs to win almost every State he won last time to stay in power. And if he loses any State he won last time he needs to convert a blue state to red. If Texas goes blue it's all over no matter what happens in the other States. Same deal for the combination of Pennsylvania plus Michigan and Wisconsin or the combination of Arizona plus North Carolina and Georgia.

This chart compares every State won in 2016 by less than 10% v's current polling. Look how many shift from a shade of red to a shade of blue, and none have gone the other way. Now polls may not be accurate, but it says the probability of a Biden landslide is significantly greater than a narrow Trump win. If these polling averages translate to votes it would correspond to Biden 350 Electoral Votes, Trump 188 Electoral Votes

Yes, horsefly, it is very odd that not one of the pro-Trump posters here predicting a win for their guy has translated that confidence into taking this bet.

Actually I will now go further than betting £100 that Biden will win the popular vote. I am prepared to bet another £100 for the PUPs that Biden will win the electoral college if all or enough of the votes cast in his favour that get challenged are deemed legitimate by the supreme court and therefore counted.

This caveat is sadly necessary because Trump has specifically said he made his Supreme Court pick to produce a 6-3 'conservative' (ie pro-Republican) majority to vote on the post-election cases that will be the logical finale to the long-term Republican effort to suppress the Democratic vote with nakedly party political measures.

To quote back what has so often been said on here before - the polls don't matter - only the votes do.

So we'll see on Wednesday who is right won't we... meanwhile I'll leave you with this gem from some of Trump's smarmiest supporters. Wonderful trolling from Rep. Ilhan Omar who has been the subject of multiple verbal attacks from Trump because of her Muslim heritage which he claims is "anti-American"

Ilham Omar downplayed one of the darkest days in the USA's history -- She's joked about people taking Al-Qaeda & Hezbollah more seriously than they took America and England --- In 2016 she wrote a letter in which she tried to have a judge be more lenient with people who try to join ISIS etc, etc..

When Trumpski opposes opinions such as those above it's a certainty that the majority of Americans fully support him --- It's the minority of immoral Lefies like yourself who don't.

Based on Fox voter analysis from 2018? Hmmm. Still I suppose there hasn't been anything like a deadly pandemic to change voters' minds. Anyway, the obvious point is that if you are so confident then you will take that £100 bet, won't you?

I've not joined in this thread Jools. But just for interest what are the things you like about Trump. Not an awkward or loaded question by the way, I'm just curious.

The list of Trump’s accomplishments would fill many pages -- Jerome Hudson, has published a book about them, 50 Things They Don’t Want You to Know About Trump.

Here, summarized, are Trump’s top 11 achievements:

1. Fastest-growing economy in history. The U.S. economy grew at 33.1% in the third quarter of 2020, a record pace. The economy bounced back because Trump laid the foundation for growth with tax cuts, deregulation, and an emphasis on jobs.

2. Lowest unemployment in 50 years. The U.S. hit 3.5% unemployment, the lowest in 50 years. Black, Latino, and Asian American unemployment was the lowest on record. Poverty hit a record low — for minorities and for Americans in general.

3. Victory over ISIS and radical Islamic terror. The U.S. smashed the so-called “Islamic State” and killed its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Though recent events in France remind us of the need to be vigilant, Trump suppressed the terror threat.

4. A border wall and immigration enforcement. The Trump administration constructed 400 miles of new and replacement wall on the southern border. It also enforced immigration law, ended family separation, and stopped the migrant caravans.

5. Diplomatic opening with North Korea. Trump brought the U.S. back from the brink of war with North Korea, meeting with Kim Jong-un and laying the foundation for negotiations toward the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

6. Peace in the Middle East. Trump moved our embassy to Jerusalem, recognized Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights, ended the Iran deal, and killed Qasem Soleimani. He forged peace between Israel and Arab states, and kept us. out of war.

7. Three Supreme Court justices and record appointments. Trump put three originalist conservatives on the highest court and confirmed more federal judges in his first term than any president in four decades — most notably at the appellate level.

8. Historic achievements for black Americans. In addition to economic prosperity, Trump also created the Opportunity Zones, enacted prison reform, funded HBCUs, and ended funding restrictions for religious HBCUs and seminaries.

9. Creating USMCA to replace NAFTA. Trump created the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), a free trade agreement with stronger protections for American workers than NAFTA, which had encouraged jobs to leave the country.

10. Standing up to China. On trade, on opioids, and on foreign policy, President Trump was the first in 50 years to stand up to China’s ambition to dominate the U.S. economy and the world. He also slowed the coronavirus with the China travel ban.

11. A stronger military, and Space Force. Trump restored U.S. dominance by rebuilding the military. He also created a new branch of the armed forces, the Space Force. And he launched Operation Warp Speed to deliver a coronavirus vaccine.

There is one overarching achievement: Trump stood up for the idea of America, its history, its heroes, its law enforcement, and its Constitution, against radical forces sowing destruction in the streets of our nation.

Only Trump could have done it.

Thank you @Jools

Just wondered why you're such an advocate of someone who has appeared so ill at ease with the office. You obviously see his 4 years as a great success and presumably you felt Obama wasn't by default.
