Nothing says one term Trump more than getting 'fact checked' during an interview by Fox News. 🤣

The idiot then challenged the interviewer and still lost out, it's over Donnie, time to play more golf.

It is just a question of how big the majority will be - and Trump will have far more pressing concerns than golf, once he becomes an ordinary citizen again

''they'll be coming for you orange boy" 😛

He is indeed and its going to get very nasty. There are very few depths he wouldn't sink to and I'm afraid those that glibly write off his chances of a second term are a bit naive. How many thought he would win first time round?

He's not going to go quietly and the sinister ****ers behind him are going to cause a lot of destruction. They know that they will be in serious trouble.

For decades, many of the politicians running our major cities have put the interests of criminals over the interests of law-abiding citizens.

Trump using this picture as part of an advert announcing what he is doing to stop the violence in the US.

Trouble is the picture actually was taken in Ukraine where police were quelling a demonstration.

Texas has a decline in new cases as well, and it’s hospital ICUs are at 87% of capacity. Like Florida, things look better. Obviously there are still a few hospitals at capacity, but even there things are looking better.

Only the Orange one could tweet that and think it makes sense

Attorney General Barr is testifying to Congress today which will put an end cap on the story thread that starts with tear gassing the crowd in Lafayette Square in Washington DC and continues with federal officers tear gassing protestors in Portland and statements they will send officers to multiple Democrat run cities.  More on this later when we get to hear what he comes up with today..... after weeks of pushing back testimony as he’s so busy, although they just delayed the meeting for some reason 😞

One observation, we are going full bore Krystalnacht here - Barr and the Republican members are selling the vision that the entire US is on fire and violent rioters are being encouraged by the Democrats and Chinese government to undermine the American people.

One MAJOR problem with that - who is it that is instigating the "riots" that occur after every day of peaceful protests ?

RICHMOND, Va. – Riots in downtown Richmond over the weekend were instigated by white supremacists under the guise of Black Lives Matter, according to law enforcement officials.

https://www.startribune.com/police-umbrella-man-was-a-white-supremacist-trying-to-incite-george-floyd-rioting/571932272/

A masked man who was seen in a viral video smashing the windows of a south Minneapolis auto parts store during the George Floyd protests, earning him the moniker “Umbrella Man,” is suspected to be a member of the Hell’s Angels biker gang seeking to incite racial tension in a demonstration that until then had been peaceful, police said.

If we lose democracy and enter the darkness of fascism it will be due in equal measure to the mendacity of the Republican Party but also to the utter incompetence of senior leaders of the Democratic Party to hold those in power to account. How can they possibly be losing the PR war around this hearing?  It's because they choose NOT to use their inherent power to set up a meeting where the facts can be aired and the most qualified ask the questions, but NOOO Chairman Nadler is doing exactly what he did in the impeachment hearings, screwing up an open and shut case by allowing only 5 minutes per Representative, prioritizing member seniority over competence, allowing speeches not questions, being too technical rather than speaking plainly and directly, allowing even the second questioner to join via videoconference (with the audio links failing) and not having a solid plan to prioritize what they want to investigate. If you lose the American public after 30 minutes of this kind of nonsense all the other hours of testimony during the day is irrelevant.... it's not like he hasn't had three months to prepare the questioning.

A Houston doctor who praises hydroxychloroquine and says that face masks aren’t necessary to stop transmission of the highly contagious coronavirus has become a star on the right-wing internet, garnering tens of millions of views on Facebook on Monday alone. Donald Trump Jr. declared the video of Stella Immanuel a “must watch,” while Donald Trump himself retweeted the video.

Before Trump and his supporters embrace Immanuel’s medical expertise, though, they should consider other medical claims Immanuel has made—including those about alien DNA and the physical effects of having **** with witches and demons in your dreams.

Immanuel, a pediatrician and a religious minister, has a history of making bizarre claims about medical topics and other issues. She has often claimed that gynecological problems like cysts and endometriosis are in fact caused by people having **** in their dreams with demons and witches.

She alleges alien DNA is currently used in medical treatments, and that scientists are cooking up a vaccine to prevent people from being religious. And, despite appearing in Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress on Monday, she has said that the government is run in part not by humans but by “reptilians” and other aliens.

A small diversion from the most important story - America's slide into fascism - a little Covid 19 update.

Yesterday in the hearings with Attorney General Barr, Chairman Nadler reminded Republican representative to wear masks.  Gaffaw - what are you scared of / it's just a hoax / what about when I'm drinking, etc ....

Today, one od the dumber Republicans, Rep. Lous Gohmer - who attended the hearings and was in close proximity to AG Barr, neither of whom wore a mask - tested positive: he later returned to his office to tell all of his staff in person that he tested positive.... and now wondering if wearing the mask for the occasional times that he did may have caused this. It may be the only reason he tested positive is he was due to fly with the President to Texas, and they test everyone who come into contact with Donald Trump. If he hadn't gotten that test he'd still be walking around the Capitol Building potentially infecting other lawmakers.... his whole attitude to the virus and masks is that "others" may have it - people like the press - and "we are not scared of you"

Immanuel has her followers and because some are celebrities, people are supposed to think that makes everything she says is credible.

Why would anyone with any sense discredit Fauci? I suppose it suits them to question the motives and competence of a Democrat. Which just reinforces the political nastiness of the US.

And we all thought Cheney was a lizard.
