nevermind, neoliberalism has had it

Who in their right mind votes for the wreckers of public services?

Recommended Posts

We all know there is waste in our public services, and fraud, some 1.6 billions worth of it, still its becoming obvious that they want to get rid of public services altogether. Today another 1.8% of central grants to public services slashed. If they think that we pay for a central bureaucratic Government so they can rule tyhe roost, and also fund our own public services from an increase in council tax, they better think again. War mongering and wasting money on lawyers, arms and 30 billion tax cuts for Osborne''s pals, is all coming from our taxes, now they want to wreck the whole edifice. Sod them! not a single penny more, get it from your tax evading pals, scrooge.

article by peter Oborne in the Telegraph, pointing to the real interests of the wreckers and their policies, especially our foreign policy. Not a word about the appalling second Gaza massacre, not a word of sympathy.

"I was not there myself, but I am told that more than 110 Conservative MPs

accepted, along with 14 Cabinet ministers, making around 125 Tory MPs in

all, more than one third of the parliamentary party. In addition there were

candidates, peers, party donors and others.

No other country (with the possible exception of the United States) could draw

so many Right-wing politicians to lunch. Yet it is worth bearing in mind

that there is no such organisation as the Conservative Friends of the

Palestinians.

Yesterday’s audience listened to a series of speeches in favour of Israel –

with scarcely a word of criticism. Cameron did refer to the “illegal

settlements” on the West Bank, asserting that they were “unhelpful.”

But I am told he made no mention of the summer invasion of Gaza, in which more

than 500 children died. There was no expression of sympathy for the

suffering of the Palestinians."

Don''t know why you are complaining JG, its national foreign policy, and so close to your right wing ideals. Tory, well all main party politicians  and their Parliamentarians have more time for the rants of rogue states than they have for their natural historic alliances here in Europe. They rather listen to warmongers and cowards than deal with facts as they exist.

Here is the real reason why Gordon Brown and Jim Murphy promising Scottish voters higher benefits and more powers, desperation has set in and the birthplace of the labour party is rejecting their chjampagne motto and their red tory habits, shadowing of every policy the blue Tory''s propose. This will set your heart racing    http://scotgoespop.blogspot.co.uk/and this will calm you down again, because there is hope beyond the self serving careerists.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWvLKAbKkG0

Here comes a funny, timely reminder what the Chipping flipping Norton set of chums have engrossed us with. The man who, according to the EDP and the rest of the frantic establishment are telling us, is the front runner.http://internationaltimes.it/david-cameron-karmas-chameleon/Well this might be a considered guess as they have already counted the postal votes people sent of a month ago, or, more likely, utter conjecture, made up make-believe designed to spread apathy amongst voters, ensuring that only his party supporters vote.not very clever

far from it Ricardo, which story do you believe in, his or her''s? You''re not denying that there are historical alliances with Poland, France, Greece, and other current EU countries do you? Apart from bamboozlin'' the UN with the Balfour declaration, only to ignore it and run away from Palestine, what alliances has Britain signed with a wannabe country that continuously steals land, starts wars and operates Apartheid policies? Why is a member of the EU prefering relations with a rogue state over and above of those with its EU partners? Why has this rogue state proviso access to the EU''s markets, who has lobbied for that?Whatever you don''t understand about the Minsk agreement it does not mean that NATO can play footsie with its members and/or support the fresh EU countries that admire and support the fascists in Ukraine with their own Nazi worshipping. This amoral'' ism and fascist love must all be a little confusing to history buffswell, according to the chief nazi hunter of the Simon Wiesenthal centre.http://www.i24news.tv/en/opinion/65928-150329-fascists-march-in-the-baltics-and-the-world-is-silent

[/quote]I deny nothing of the kind dear boy. Merely stating that our historical alliances have not been with Europe but with certain countries at certain times and that these change with time and what we perceive to be in our best interests. Historically this has to do with preventing any single power from gaining European hegemony. In the middle Ages and right up to the 19th century the alliances we formed were largely against the French. When the German states united in the latter part of the 19th century our alliances were changed, making France our ally and Germany and Austria/ Hungary our potential enemies.British alliances with other nations, be they European or in the wider world, have always been pragmatic. Long may this remain so.

Above is why I hope the conservatives keep to their word and give us a referendum. If they get in.

The conservatives are taxing the rich higher than they have ever been taxed.
