Norwich R Us 59 Posted July 23, 2013 It will benefit Archant as they will be selling that space to advertisers. End thread.
ABC (A Basingstoke Canary) 26 Posted July 23, 2013
....fancy edging? I guess its advertising ploy, but I don''t see how the fancy edging is benefiting anyone.....
If you''re referring to that irritating advert promoting what looks like reject MFI furniture, then the sooner they "put it to bed" the better! The number of times I''ve clicked on it because my cursor was 1mm out - it''s maddening!
The Walking Man 13 Posted July 23, 2013 I''ve got Google AdBlock (on chrome) so have no idea what on earth you''re all going on about!
ur just a man in a jacket 0 Posted July 24, 2013 Oh yes that''s the advertising that keeps this site up and running for us to use for FREE. Get real you pathetic lot - without advertising revenue you won''t have archant and your beloved forum - think about that before slating their initiative. And for the nice guy who has slagged off the ''mfi'' style bedrooms the guy who has it has worked endlessly on business to build a name locally and is just as passionate about ncfc as you so think about your comments before posting. AJ 1,218 Posted July 25, 2013 Apparently they are going to make them non-clickable which will benefit everyone! But yes, the advertising on this site keeps it free, and as long as it remains un-intrusive (no pop-ups etc) then I am more than happy for it to be there

Herman 9,585 Posted July 25, 2013 If everyone starts using adblocks then this forum will make absolutely no revenue. Therefore either a paywall will be put up or the website gets shut down.
