nevermind, neoliberalism has had it

Local Government secure?

Recommended Posts

This video is publicly available on U tube, for anybody to remove it, is unprofessional bias, it has nothing to do withlegal matters in hand.Personally I would like to thank this chap ''Tommy'' and his dog Mutley, for showing up these lax practise andI hope that someone will ask some serious question to the whole cabinet, Cllrs. Borett and Murphy especially as they are responsible for overall security, such laxity has nothing to do with cuts, but with lazy practise and it hashad County Hall staff scratching their heads. This is one of four videos made within the last 10 days.

Just caught the last bit of the late evening Look East and they were showing a video from youtube that looked remarkably similar to ''Tommy''s''. They also mentioned that a ''Tom Smith'' was charged for racially aggravated harassment. Funny old world....

Funny indeed, because he''s been charged with a public order offence, nothing to do with racial aggravation, imho. He has not talked to nayone but himself, so who could possibly be racially harassed?Tim Smith has done us all a service by pointing out the lax security and How can a man with a dog get into NCC on the weekend? How was it possible that he could enter the offices of Dir. of NP, Norfolk Property, the man who signs off commercially sensitive contracts, procurement and tenders? Why were there so many official documents not under lock and key in that office when it was open?Tim Smith has not acted in a malicious way, it was a prank that showed up the low moral and hence, lax security and disconcern with our publicly sensitive information in a building that was open like a barn door.If he, or anybody else with a second agenda, would have used the publicly owned photocopier and paper to copy sensitive material and tenders and published them, or made some detailed footage, he would have caused us to be liable for hundreds of thousands in legal costs and compensation, if not more.I would like to thank Tim Smith for his ''tour'' exposing these lackadaisical practises and I very much hope that those responsible for security and NP law offices are challenged and interviewed. This from Wymondham police station after receiving his phone back.
I tried to find the BBC report on iplayer to no avail, as I said I just caught the last few seconds and could have misheard.
No you are right this time.  The daft fool drew the Hindi holy swastika the wrong way round and called Norfolk Property law Nazi property law. Tom, not Tim, has nevertheless showed how lax the existing practises are.Not at all business like and far removed from any outside practises. NCC operates a clear desk policy and that was not adhered to at County hall and the p;ace is like a sieve.http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/politics/intruder_at_norfolk_county_council_s_county_hall_sparks_security_review_1_1803521

After days of droning in the local paper on how many jobs are going to be created in a years time, by all sorts of Tory politicians, local companies dependent on public contracts, the Bishop and who would have known, a smiling PM, a lot of fine words with no meat to it at all,. we are now faced with the pre election pot hole fixers trying to ensure that the car driving community votes for those who hold the purse. Two companies are profiting from repairs before thy are done, sub contracting and ''hangers on'' are making our services expensive. Its not small local companies that benefit, but one large contractor who does the books, gets the credits and a subcontractor who does the work or subcontracts it our further. This is not just pot holes that are repaired like that, other services suffer from the same disease, some might call it corrupt practises, but the real corruption which ensured that it will only work this way, are party politicians. Now you know why I stand as an Independent ever so often, it is important that we get back to serving us all, efficiently and without self/vested interests being involved.
