I just googled the problem and got the answer that the Tacolneston transmitter had a drop in power resulting in the loss. It also said if you had moved along the dial a bit you would have got it back again.

Thankyou, my dear Shrimper. Funnily enough I did try to retune by rotating the button but to no avail did I hear that lovely boy. It''s nice to know it wasn''t because I did something wrong.
