that fifty shades of grey book....

Recommended Posts

this

50 shades of grey .. it has been classified as "Mummy porn" by some

reviewers. or erotic fiction... what makes it socially acceptable then

for women to read? for example... if a man was to turn up with his copy

of Lolita, or Lady Chatterlys Lover, or something recent from the erotic

fiction of Waterstones, women would pass judgement and society would

label him as "pervert" "weirdo" etc... so how come the shoe isn''t on the

other foot now?

Having not read the book, I''m somewhat alarmed at why it should attract mothers, who are by nature wired to be caring about their young offspring.Come across this discussion. Its all about paedophilia, they say. Now why should such a despicable practise be in vogue with women? I''m non nonplussed, flabbergasted. http://theulstermanreport.com/2012/08/16/50-shades-of-grey-pedophilia-hiding-in-plain-sight-letter-from-a-reader/

The most frightening thing is when you have idiots who actually believe that this is what women like.

The "techniques" in the book are just plain old sick, and I know that some of my women friends just laughed it, but men seem to think it''s something women really "dig"...

yep, bin this as well, instantly....;) How could we possibly speak about the paedophile tendency of society when we do not question the morals of its beliefs?Lets all become catholic nuns. You just can''t get away from the verocious lust that has been kindled by those close to god. Regardless of the religion, this all assumed morally safe place called church, the trust societies invested in priests to look after and teach our kids, all this was a fantasy, something societies and the State have believed in and relied on for centuries, morals philosophers build their theories on.Now, in the 21st century,. we find out that these world religions have been morally disfunct cesspit''s, fakes. Now what?http://www.aljazeera.com/news/asia-pacific/2012/09/201292255516766599.html

Despite being told there is no paedophilia in the book you are still harping on about it? Or is it just another attempt to derail the topic to fit your own personal agenda?

Every country has a problem with paedophilia it''s just how it''s dealt with makes the headlines (or not). The victims of Catholic Priests all over the world did not submit willingly but neither do the thousands of underage prostitutes found in every country, the child brides common across the middle east and S.E. Asia and the poor children who appear in the millions of depraved images on the internet. I really don''t see the point in your post, if you want to discuss paedophilia then perhaps you should start another thread but don''t think for one moment that this disgusting practice is limited to the Roman Catholic Church.

JG, I have [posted the l;ink of other, more learned persons who have called it paedophilia.I''m

questioning the moralities religion is preaching to us at the same

time, these are not too different occurrence in history, they are

happening at the same time.If you would read what I have written, i.e. ''regardless of the religion'', this behaviour is prevalent in most of them, and that peole have trusted religious morals and rectitude for hundreds of years, they have sha[ped the backbone of societies moral framework. If that framework is false, as we can see by the numerous scandals, then those morals were false. This book is a mirror of society, it identifies with the morals we follow, everyone can see themselves in it, the two are connected.I leave you to your thread.

What are you banging on about nevermind? It seems like you love a good rant on here looking at some posts (Along with derailment).

So the author was abused by Catholic Priests when she was a child in Australia?

And there was me thinking that she was a middle-aged woman from a well-to-do background living out her fantasies via fan fiction.

The topic of this over-exposed book appears to be quite contentious.

I much prefer a good old-fashioned murder, my dears.

Rather agree.I tend to be an old prude when it comes to sex in books*.Most of it is unnecessary, and most of it is poorly written.

*Much rather watch it[:D]

It sounds like you need a modern woman in your life to tend to your needs, once you have proposed and then married the lucky girl of course, my dear Herman
