mrs miggins 0 Posted September 18, 2013 that''s a tune.Did go and see babyshambles like i said on monday night, and i''ve got to say i thought they were fantastic. Great setlist, nice vocals, interaction with the crowd. Although ribs and feet a bit bruised, the crowd were great on the floor - no @arseholes. And after that, got to shake hands with pete doherty when he came and met some of the fans 10mins after the gig...nice chap. All in all very very good. Gingerpele 0 Posted September 27, 2013 Janet Devlin.Perfect.Saw her live for the second time this Wednesday, at a nice little venue, The Jazz Cafe in Camden. I can''t even describe how amazing she was. She''s such a lovely person as well, came back out after to talk/have photos/sign things for everyone. Her songs are great, album isn''t properly out yet, think it''s possibly still available on pledge Music, but that might just be a pre-order now.Anyway, she wins. :)

Wings of a Sparrow 1,409 Posted October 5, 2013 Playing some big venues there. Hope they sell OK.Apparently in their heyday they were demi-Gods and gigs were a bit mental. (Think I saw that on telly recently).Expected to see they were playing UEA or similar venue.

hexem 0 Posted October 11, 2013 I am a bit lazy, but have been enjoying the soundtrack music for Peaky Blinders.White Stripes, Nick Cave, (Always had a soft spot for his duet with Kylie. The Wild Rose).I got joked at for that by a long ago poster Chandos....... I still think it is cute. Kylie too.And Tom Waits even works for me in some dark scenes. The Hope and Anchor (N1) is to host Opera run by The Kings Head Theatre!. Opera is lost on me.hex

Wings of a Sparrow 1,409 Posted October 13, 2013 I''ve flicked around a couple of times and stopped at Peaky Blinders and thought how good the music was.I''ve always flicked on, though as it was already episode 2 or 3. It''s on my list of things to catch up with along with Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad (among others).

mrs miggins 0 Posted October 24, 2013 I thought his voice was pretty good. I didn''t realise it was from ''99, I guess thats why they put in a few clash ones as they hadn''t released that much at that time.
