A bit of upbeat jollity from Cerys this morning. And a bit of Latino Jazz from Lauren. I heard Chico Hamilton on Cerys too! Loved it.
Nuff Said 5,088 Posted September 1, 2021 This is the whole album so if you normally listen to the Ramones, be warned.
Herman 9,710 Posted September 2, 2021 Treated myself to a vinyl copy of that. He's a great musician and tries something different with each album. The Pink Floyd inspired Reflections (Mojave) is a peach.👍
Herman 9,710 Posted September 2, 2021 Still slightly mad, still shouty but now with a touch of polish to their sound.

I first heard it on 6 Music, which I where I get most new stuff from. I used to make a point of buying The Guardian on a Friday for the music and film reviews but it’s shrunk almost to nothing now. ☹️

Herman 9,710 Posted September 16, 2021 Heard about this on his podcast t'other week. This links Mark Kermode (on bass) and Nanci Griffith. Some of you may enjoy it.
sonyc 5,489 Posted September 16, 2021 Some nice stuff being shared recently. Love lot of Nanci Griffith and that PSA song always been a favourite and the atmospheric guitar adds a lot. Have been listening to songs in 5:4 the last week (no real idea why but just exploring) so thought of sharing a few here (even if some so well known):
