Are we that bad ?

Recommended Posts
No heart is just something trotted out after a couple poor results without any evidence because its hard to prove either way, its lazy.

Rhodes was good yesterday and scored. Pukki has impressed all season. Some of the rubbish spouted on here doesnt fill me with confidence for the continuation of the human race let alone our project at NCFC
Unfortunately, I also think some of them have been allowed to breed...

I think we are closer now to being a top 6 Championship team than we have been at any time since relegation under Alex Neil. Results will come.

The squad is definitely stronger than last year despite the nay-sayers insisting that losing Maddison and Murphy will relegate us. Right back is a concern and has been targeted by the opposition so far - Marshall has struggled there, but has been given very little help - but our tendency to ball watch when defending set pieces or crosses has been our major downfall so far, and is something which should be addressed on the training pitch. Sheff Utd tried the same tactic 4 or 5 times before it worked in the injury time winner (for which, by the way, Krul was very slow to react.)

All this negativity after 3 games is quite funny in a way. Rebuilding a team/squad is clearly not as straightforward as some NCFC fans would have us believe.

I also think the reporting of our games is partly to blame for all these whingers, because most of them don''t actually see what happens, they listen on the radio or read the reports. Surely those who go to the games don''t write this drivel.

For example, Pukki''s "miss" on Saturday was described by one reporter as if it was a tap in which he managed to blast over from two yards - actually, it was quite a decent reaction effort with his back to goal, and was quite unlucky.

A sharper Rhodes (and we have to hope he will get sharper) would have had a hattrick against Sheff Utd to add to the one he should also have got against WBA.

Krul is also clearly rusty, but we have to hope he will get better too, like Hernandez has. Pukki has started well, but we need to use Marshall further forward for him to settle.

Others, like Buendia and Maclean, we may not see the best of until after Christmas, but this is a long season.

I genuinely don''t see a better squad in the league than we have and it is indeed down to the management to get them playing and winning. Should we give them a chance?

The ''Coach'' is the problem, so it doesn''t matter if we had the best players in the world, Farke would under achieve with them.

Our squad is very good - get rid of Farke then see them perform, week in, week out.

The problem is the Suffolk Socialists will never hire a manager with balls who is going to tell the Board a lot of home truths which they don''t want to hear.

Delia doesn''t like dissenters, only people who agree with her wrong way forward.

After Alex Neil, there were rumours Hodgson was going to join - but the fact it never happened is typical of the way in which Norwich City never go for a high profile appointment.

Delia, as you would expect, got hold of the wrong end of the stick by going for structural change instead of the boy Woy.

We are thus where we are.............McNastyless and sinking fast.

Can''t disagree with that Vince!

Didn''t Delia have a habit of visiting the changing rooms before the match until Lambert arrived when she was told to stay firmly away!

Norwich City is just a vehicle for Delia''s ego. She won''t invest, so she serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever, apart from keeping herself in the public eye.

Reading some of the old guff put up by the usual suspects would suggest the title should be aimed at them instead
