My biggest worry is that Farke will not play either Godfrey or Thompson but will persevere with Tettey and Trybul. The Preston game is an opportunity to put out a youthful and attacking side and give the opposition something to worry about. At present a midfield trio of Tettey, Trybul and Leitner will get bypassed every time by the opposition when they push forward with any pace.

I am now erring towards Godfrey ahead of Thompson tonight, as Tetteys replacement.

This would give us more strength in the air - to face their preference to play with a barrage of crosses, 27 per game is more than any team. Out back post will be targeted.

While I wouldnt want Steipermann starting instead of Trybull or Lewis, he does bring extra aerial power to the second worst team on headers in the league (Hull being the worst)

Most of their goals have come from set pieces , so I am bothered...

I would play Godfrey too , because of his aerial power and I would refer to the three at the back...that worked well last season...

Absolutely nothing in the final third.. slow, predictable sideways passing from the back 6.. Pukki has barely had a touch.

I wouldn’t say he’s looking for it. More like standing in space being afforded to him. He can’t take the ball in tight areas or further forward without a bad touch or giving it away.

It’s time for him to be a bit part player and no more. We need an injection of strength and mobility, someone who can play the ball confidently forward in that position

Going back a couple of months I thought that the general view on here was that it was great that he signed another years contract because we couldn''t do without him?
