Crafty Canary 495 Posted August 28, 2018 A pleasing result but ultimately irrelevant as we won''t be winning the EFL Cup. Of more interest will be the team picked for Sunday. I would expect McGovern to be in goal and Srbeny up front with Tettey in midfield. It would be good to see Godfrey keep his place in the centre of defence too. Credit to Daniel and the players, some folk had put them under real pressure after the weekend, but they went out there and got the job done playing some fantastic football. Some of these boys certainly deserve a start on Sunday. And nice one to the travelling support who always get right behind the lads, a long journey for 99% of them but the support they give the team should never be underestimated, the players will feed off that no question 👍.
