Ten Changes. Is that the Answer?

Really think we should be sorting out the team than this nonsense of resting players with a midweek break looming.

Subs are : Krul (GK), Marshall, Leitner, Rhodes, Pukki, Hernandez, Hanley
I''m really really we''ve made so many changes, didn''t want to risk our first teamers, need to keep them for Sunday
Tettey STARTS?

Should be wrapped up for Sunday.
DF explicitly referred to Tettey when outlining his plans for tonight. He is perfectly aware of the condition of Tettey''s knee and overall fitness levels. He also explained why Tettey would be getting some more competitive minutes under his belt this evening against Cardiff. If you disagree with him you might at least explain why you think his specialist-backed assessment of what''s best for Tettey is wrong.

Pleased with that team.

Still looks quite strong on paper, protects the first 11 from injury and hopefully will get some good performances to push for Sunday.

"Tettey STARTS?

Fully agree. He has the experience and always plays well against Ipswich.

Farke always seems to make at least one selection I cannot fathom.

He''s the manager though, I was a pub league striker so I suppose that there are sound reasons; which never become obvious by the performances or the results though.

I cannot see Cardiff being much up for this. They have more important considerations this season.

Their support probably won''t turn out in great force as by now they will have their appetite''s made wet by the prospect of seeing their team pitted against the cream rather than a mundane side from the Chumps.

Our take from the gate probably won''t cover the cost of hiring the plane to get there.

We could get a result simply because the home side have more to lose by winning.

Just heard that Cardiff have made nine changes too.

Feel a bit sorry for Aarons who usually plays at right back and is again given the left back slot.
Godfrey could be in for a busy night with the vertically challenged Passlack at right back, would like to see Passlack tried higher up the pitch
Hope Todd is not shunted out onto the left again
Srbeny has looked better as a withdrawn number 9, hopefully not used as a target man
We shall see

Possibly because DF appears to be getting more wrong than right.

Exactly my thoughts too, glad hes made so many changes, suspect that Tettey will only play half the game

I''ll explain wcc, Cantiaci has probably excused himself by now.

I consider Tettey quite an important ingredient in the team for the derby game for the reasons that I have mentioned.

All those playing in what I consider a fairly meaningless game risk injury, Tettey more so though because of his obvious fragility.

If he breaks down then Farke will be wrong, if he is sharper for Sunday then Farke is on the button, but I would still consider it a risk that need not be taken.

We''ll see.

Really pleased for Srbeny, sounds like a great finish (albeit after missing two similar chances).
Look forward to catching it on the highlights.
Could do with Srbeny finding some goals.

Good to hear Cantwell getting involved, great if Godfrey can make a big impression too.
Sounds like Sir Benny has taken a knock, Sod''s law!

Sorry westcoast ... I didn''t get any of the pre match presser. Thanks for the illumination.

I''m just want to beat Ipswich so very much on Sunday and wanted a fully fresh Tetts at Portman Road. If he needs vital minutes then so be it.

"This first 28-odd minutes underlines the curious case of Dennis Srbeny.

There is a finisher there, no doubt, when its instinctive and he has no

chance to dwell on his options."  Paddy Davitt.
Sounds similar problem to Simeon Jackson.

Srbeny brace.
But don''t worry, at best he''s only any good playing down Sloughbottom Park according to some experts on here [:D]

We know we can score this season. What can the problem be. I don''t get it.
