Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 12 Week 9

Recommended Posts

Welcome to Rays Funds,

supported by Asset Angels, Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus.

For week 9 of our Rays Funds

season we have King Canary selecting the final six results for the first time. Kingo

joined us last season and finished with 59% winning picks at a profitability of

1.43. That included a couple of real value selections and he’s already found a

couple of those value picks this season. Kingo is already on Ray’s signature

thanks to his winning week doing the Norwich picks last season. In fact that win

of £36.46 was one of the biggest of the season. So let’s help him to a final

six winning debut with our very best selections from the games played on Sat,

Sun or Mon of this weekend which are listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365.

We have another debutant with

Hogesar making the Norwich selections for our game against Wigan. Hoggy was one

of our “Guess the Gate” winners and was more than happy to take up the

challenge in the hotseat this week. You will all know Hoggy from his posts on

the main board and I’m really pleased to have finally got him on our threads. Let’s

help him to a winning debut with our very best suggestions for Saturday’s game.

Hoggy, you have a tenner to spend split how you like between the PUPs

selections and your own. If you look at last week’s thread your task is the

same as Graham had. If you’re not sure of anything just ask. The PUPs will be

only to pleased to help you.

These companies who support our work to raise funds for

the CSF and our wonderful Downe''s Syndrome Team of boys and girls have all

renewed their support for another year. This is reflected in the new totals on

Ray’s signature So we would like to say a massive thank you to:
-

 http://www.assetangels.co.uk/     https://www.facebook.com/assetangels

http://www.turnereuropeanconsulting.com/

https://www.kareplus.co.uk/norwich/

If any other companies out there would also like to

support our efforts, we''ll be happy to add you to our list of links on this

thread every week.

So now I’ll hand

the thread over to King Canary and Hogesar. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downs

Syndrome boys and girls.

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Kingo and Callum... the thread is

yours.......[:)].....

I have got a brilliant offer

for you PUPs to get your hands on a fantastic Christmas present..

One of our own PUPs contacted me last month and offered us their

Canaries Bond Privilege hospitality match for

two to help us raise more funds for our wonderful DS boys and girls. This

wonderfully generous PUP secured us the Boxing Day game against Nottingham

Forest.

 Package

includes ........

Pre match three course meal in the Top Of The

Terrace

Executive match seats in the Top Of The

Terrace

Betting Facilities

Tea and Coffee throughout the day

Post match access to Gunn Club for player

interview

Matchday programme and team sheet

I think the list price for these is £100 + VAT

each.

This brilliant hospitality package for two will

be posted here and in our PUPs Facebook group until 6pm 30th September. Bids

can be emailed to me on canaryeddie@aol.com . I will continually update the winning bid on

the current PUPs thread and our facebook group.
There is a reserve on this. However the reserve

would be excellent value.
The highest bid, which meets or

betters the reserve, at 6pm on 30th September will secure the package.

Evening everyone, it’s been a lovely day down here in SE London and I’m feeling very positive about this week’s picks.

My pick this week is a home win for ARSENAL v Watford and for the match bet I think it will be another close game so how about BTTS and Norwich to win.

Good luck pickers, especially King Canary and Hogesar. 🤞🙂

Tempted to throw in the towel already re the PUPs league but in the spirit of giving pickers the matches to avoid as they were my choice, we go on regardless. AC Fylde to beat Braintree for me please.

I can see only one winner at Carrow Rd. Norwich to score in the first ten minutes. Good luck all!

OK so lets head north of the border and put myself behind a faltering Celtic. They have on paper a tough game this week and that in turn is leading to good odds so my pick is.....

Celtic v Aberdeen....Home win.

All the best to King canary and all this weeks pickers.

For Kingo I''m going to Denmark and suggest : -
Midtjylland          v          Hobro          Home Win
Form can be found here: Click
For Hoggy I''ve gone high risk. I''ve noticed Wigan are strong in the first half but have only scored one goal later than 60 mins. So I''m going to suggest HT 1-1 Draw / FT 3-1 Norwich.

Denmark 2 Division Group 2: Bronshoj vs Skovshoved, home win @ 1.40 (bet365).Current League totalsBronshoj  : P8 W5-D0-L3 16/12Skovshoved: P9 W1-D1-L7 5/22Bronshoj have a young but reasonably experienced German manager who has been in charge since the beginning of last season and has overseen something of a turnaround in form. Their current record is P8 W5-D0-L3 16/12.Skovshoved installed a manager prior to the start of this season who only has experience of the lowest tiers of Danish football, and have seen their form plunge. Their current record is P9 W1-D1-L7 5/22.At home, Skovshoved lost to B 93, Hillerod and Avarta, and drew against Vanlose, yet Bronshoj beat all these teams away except Avarta (whom they beat at home).Brønshøj have so far only failed to win against the 1st, 2nd and 4th placed teams. Two of these were away games, the other was a 2-1 loss at home to 2nd placed AB (who thrashed Skovshoved 6-0 at home a week earlier).Skovshoved''s only win was in their first away game at bottom side Marienlyst. They have subsequently lost four away games without scoring, conceding 14 goals.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tough one for the Norwich pick. We are probably prone to errors from having so many youths in the side, and Wigan were a team who scored quite few away goals last season, yet have so far failed to repeat this.Wigan might well try and get a point since they''ve lost 3 out of their 4 away matches (another couple of away points would have seen them 3rd on goal difference). Farke might try and cover the defensive inexperience by looking to stifle in midfield, keep possession and be picky about when to attack, ie happy to consolidate and try to nick a win. With the above in mind I''d expect similar tactics from both teams and a cancelling out effect as opposed to a ding-dong battle. I''d look at 1-0, 1-1, 2-1 as score bets, with a perhaps more cagey game ahead of us than many expect.

Good luck pickers, especially King and Hogesar.

Hello all,

For King Canary this week I head across the pond to Argentina and the Primera B Metro to back Acassuso vs San Miguel for a HOME WIN as Acassuso face the leagues whipping boys as 3rd vs bottom. San Miguel have obviously been enjoying their namesake as they have currently scored just 2 goals in 7 games whilst Acassuso are currently unbeaten.

For the Match bet, nice to see Hogesar in the seat. On Billhill I spotted on the specials "Teemu Pukki To Score And Norwich To Win 1-0, 2-0 Or 2-1 @ 6/1" Looks a decent one to stick a quid on.

Good luck everyone!

The Sodra Svealand section of the Swedish Division 2.Hanninge to win at home against Eskilstuna City.Hanninge, top but by no means yet certain of promotion, have  7-2-1 and 23/10 home record. They have won their last five, with a 20/2 goal difference.Eskilstuna City are one from bottom with a 1-1-9 and 9/38 away record and have lost their last two away by 5-3 and 5-1.The odds, not surprisingly, are short, at 1/10.---For the match bet I suggest Vrancic to score the last goal, at 14/1.Good luck to all!
