Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 12 Week 12

Recommended Posts

Welcome to Rays Funds,

supported by Asset Angels, Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus.

This week we have Hammond1612

making the final six selections. Daniel’s on fantastic form this season with

9/11 82% winning picks. I’ve been eagerly waiting for Dan’s turn ever since he

was unlucky with his six last season. When Real are the first game and they let

us down at 1/20 we know we are not meant to win. But I have a feeling Dan will

bounce back with a win this time. I’d love to see Hammond1612 on the first part

of Ray’s signature as Dan already has two wins when selecting the Norwich

picks. I also know that Daniel has a surprise for you PUPs and I’ll leave him

to tell us about it. Let’s help Daniel secure our first winning six of the

season with our best selections from the games played on Sat, Sun or Mon of

this weekend which are listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365.

Crabbycanary3 is making the

final picks for City’s game at Forest on Saturday. International breaks tend to

spoil the rhythm making predictions more difficult but Crabby is the ideal PUP

to steer us through such obstacles as he has a hat-trick of wins when making

these picks in previous years. Crabby is a wonderful supporter of everything we

do in this great online community so let’s help him to win number four with

some great suggestions for Saturday’s game.

I’ve prepared the rota for

November. Please confirm with your picks if the dates are ok. If not I can amend

it....

Final Six Results

03/11 – Molly Windley

10/11 – Diane

17/11 – Gregt

24/11 – Hissing Sid

Norwich Picks

the thread over to Hammond1612 and Crabbycanary3. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downs

Hi Nutty, I''m away again for the end of the week so will leave my selections here (many thanks for looking after these over the last couple of weeks)!
Off to the land of the Cretans this week with OFI vs Olympiakos (away win).
For the City bet I''ll go for a 2-2 draw.
Good luck and best wishes to all the PUPs.

Thanks Eddie for the intro, I always look forward to the opportunity to add money into the pot. I’ve given Eddie an extra tenner so I’m going to do two lots of bets, one on the Saturday and one on the Sunday, so hopefully this will give us a bit of an extra chance to get back to winning ways. I’ll post the selections on Friday night so plenty of time to get the suggestions in. Thanks again Eddie for the opportunity! Also my pick is juventus this week.

Iffy internet access this week, and I have no idea of odds as yet, but possibilities I have seen for Saturday are:

Apollon in Cyprus.

Slovak Bratislava in Slovakia.

Mechtersheim in the RPS section of the German Oberliga.

For Sunday:

Turkgucu Ataspor in the Bayern Sud section of the Oberliga.

FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round: Hartlepool vs Kidsgrove Athletic, home win @ 1.29 Wm Hill.Kidsgrove play three divisions below Hartlepool in Northern League Division One South and finished last season 18th (out of 22) with an away record of W7-D2-L12 39/51. A closer look at their league away games shows that their recent good run has mainly come against low to middling teams.Workington, Kidsgroves''s opponents from the previous round, perhaps weren''t as big a scalp as last season''s finishing position of 12th in the league above might have implied. Their form nose-dived going into 2018 and their away record since the turn of the year is a very poor W3-D2-L12.Workington were somewhat handicapped after having played four games versus Kidsgrove''s three during the fortnight prior to their initial encounter. The replay was just four days later and was perhaps a bridge too far with Kidsgrove winning at home in extra time. This replay ensures that they''ve played 120 minutes more than Hartlepool during the past fortnight.Hartlepool are 8th in the National League and appear to be rejuvinated both on and off the field under a new owner following a period of financial uncertainty. On the pitch they have experienced a turnaround since boss Matthew Bates saved them from relegation last season, and the process of tightening up the defence seems to have benefited their away form more than their home.Harlepool are certainly very capable in attack, and from what I''ve seen of Kidsgrove their defensive lapses would be punished by better teams. All in all, this looks like a case of underated/higher vs overrated/lower at reasonable odds.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I noticed that we''ve not got a good away record at Forest, and Karanka is known to often keep things tight. Farke has frequently been similarly tight on the road, and will probably look to take at least a point after the previous home loss.Norwich will possibly be without Pukki, which adds to the notion of a low scoring game. Forest have recently had plenty of home draws and it''s maybe unlikely that we''ll see another 0-0 after two of those busses recently arrived in quick succession.I''d look at putting most on 1-1, a fair bit on 1-0 Forest, and enough on 1-0 Norwich to make a small profit.

Good Hammond and Crabby, and all other pickers.

Not the easiest this week for either....good luck chaps...👍💪

For Hammond think a trip to Greece might be good for an away win:

Apollon Smirnis vs AEK Athens

As for Crabby’s Norwich bet, think we’ve been very disciplined and wouldn’t be tempted to focus on that as a coach for this game...perhaps a nil-nil draw has good value...😊

L1 for me this week as a i look to avoid any interational break hangovers, and a home win for Doncaster v Gillingham.
For the City bet i suggest a 1-1, tough game and think a point will be a decent return.
Good luck to Hammond and Crabby, have a great weekend all. OTBC

Looks like we''re struggling for Sunday selections this week. Normally there''s a decent split. If it stays like that trust you''re own judgement for Sunday buddy. [Y]
