Seems to me Delia wants the best of both worlds. Wants to stay in Europe to be better off but won''t allow foreign investment into NCFC cos it might upset the locally supported club.

Maybe I am just being a bit cynical.

Personally, think the EU is taking us for a ride and the sooner we are out the better........and yes, she should be at the City Ground!!!

The speakers are a cabale of socialists or socialist sympathisers.

Socialists are the enemies of the poor. Their policies make the poor a lot poorer.

The biggest deceit is that socialist leaders sip champagne whilst asking the electorate to vote to be poorer.
She''s also paid for a coach from Norwich to London for other supporters to go too. Pathetic!
Out of her own money, or is she not allowed to do what she wants with her own money?

The old gal is entitled to her opinions even if they are worth no more than anyone else''s. As she is a Corbyn supporter I will pay no regard to them myself.

Got to say the attitude towards our majority shareholder stinks on here.

Whether she has anything relevant to say at the rally is meaningless because she will be preaching to the converted obviously.

But I would hazard a guess she will be speaking from knowledge and experience about the subject rather than the guesswork of us on here.

And she isn''t just a "celebrity". She employs a lot of people. She also has thousands upon thousands of souls to placate by doing her best with a football club that isn''t doing as well as hoped.

And its her fault because she isn''t rich enough and she didn''t buy Neymar.

Ever since Brexit, not only the country, but this forum has got a bit spiteful at times. I think we could look at things a bit more considered or humourously.

In a democratic country we allow free speech. Unfortunately, this woman is speaking to overthrow democracy. She has over-stepped the line.

As a remainer I am not particularly in favour of another vote. I believed we should have stayed in the EU because it could go badly wrong leaving it.

But I think we do have to now try and see what it will be like outside. It may well be the best thing that happens.

But I do sense fear among Leavers that if there is another vote, particularly with two years of younger people becoming eligible and no doubt a great deal of older people no longer alive, that the vote we be to remain.

And many of the speakers at the rally will believe that many who voted leave were misinformed at the time.

So I don''t think Delia will say anything that is undemocratic. She will be arguing the case for a vote to possibly be taken now that the voice of the other 27 nations has been heard on the subject.

Is the DUP holding sway over our nation democratic? Is the Monetary Policy democratic? Is the House of Lords democratic?

LOL, how on earth does that make sense?

It doesn''t make sense, Herman, but these days very little does. It seems the more obscure the better.

The odd thing about democracy is that you are allowed to have opinions and voice them. The argument against holding any referendum seems to be that we''ve had one. This does seem at odds with the idea of elections generally, which take place regularly. Have we not voted on many things many times?

The rights and wrongs of a People''s Vote isn''t along party lines, thankfully, and does have credence; the initial vote was never ''for'' anything specific and was far too vague. Some voted on immigration, some on NHS getting extra money, some on ''freedom'' and so on, but no one even vaguely knew what the terms were going to be. Once we do know them (if we ever do!), it isn''t beyond sense to verify that it is what people want.

Pretty much bang on the money[Y]
As much as I dislike it there is a mandate to leave but not how we leave, and certainly not crashing out with nothing. If we ever get to a final deal the people should get another democratic say. If it is as good as people were promised, then it will easily get through.

"here is a mandate to leave"
No, that is totally incorrect. MP''s are not mandated (and certainly not by an advisory vote), they are representatives. Which means it is up to them to decide how to vote, not be beholden to a vox pop that was not even based on constituency''s (so how the heck could they ever be mandated ?)
And the words of a former PM count for diddley squat when it comes to the lawful democratic process. Which when it requires a change in law (as this does) then that law is changed by Parliament. Not by the government (as some of the confused on here imagine). A Parliament (lower house) that has has nearly 100 different MPs to that vox pop of 2016.
Saturday will be yet another protest in that long line of protests going back to our own Robert Kett. Rights, freedom and democracy have often to be fought for and, as with this, defended.
And as Johnson and Rees-Mogg splutter, this one to paraphrase words from elsewhere is going to be lost by the play boys of Eton

Perhaps she can ask for a re-run of the ''73 and ''75 League Cup Finals as I for one didn''t like the score in either...
