Hurst, 44, has been axed after just five months in charge and with the Tractor Boys bottom of the Championship. But that will not deter Evans, who remembers the massive impact Lambert made while in charge at Carrow Road between 2009 and 2012.He led them to the League One title in 2010 and then straight into the Premier League a year later. After the Canaries finished 12th Lambert joined Aston Villa and was eventually dismissed in 2015.
