Crook couldn''t run very far, tackle or head it but he was a brilliant technician. He could see a pass. You had to do all his running in midfield!GOSS: But he could nutmeg me in every session! He would have 20 fags and a beefburger and was still our best player. I roomed with Rob Newman but on one trip I shared with Crook. He stood on a chair smoking out of the window.
