Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 12 Week 13

Recommended Posts

Welcome to Rays Funds,

supported by Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus.

This week we have Parma making

the final six selections. Parma’s one of our most consistent PUPs, always

around the top of the PUPs league and is again this season with 10/12 83%

winning weeks. He’s also won when selecting the final six on two previous

occasions as well as having a win when making the Norwich picks. So Parma’s a

top PUP and also a top man who supports us in many different ways and I’m proud

to call him a friend. We all enjoy his thought provoking posts on the message

board and I’m lucky enough to have watched a couple of games in Parma’s company.

It’s an education as he sees things that I don’t. Let’s give Parma the

ammunition he needs with our best selections from the games played on Sat, Sun

or Mon of this weekend which are listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365.

We have a real celebrity

making the Norwich picks this week with our great friend Jamie Abbott in the hot

seat for City’s game at home to Brentford on Saturday. Jamie has played in his

own game at five times at Carrow Road and played alongside many City legends

and celebrities. Jamie’s also Ambassador with the CSF and of course a top

player for our brilliant DS team. When making these selections last season

Jamie’s own choice was Pinto to score. Of course at that time Pinto had never

scored a professional goal anywhere. But Jamie knew and his choice added to the

pot at 20/1. So let’s help him to a second win with some great suggestions for

Saturday’s game.

Just need GMF and 93V to confirm and the rota is good to go : -

Cologne to beat FC Heidenheim in 2nd Bundesliga and for the Norwich bet, I am hoping that Brentford are still suffering from losing their manager, and Jordan Rhodes improves on his showing on Tuesday, and scores a hat trick.

Good luck all.

A very good afternoon to you Nutty and good luck to Parma, Jamie and all you other lovely PUPs out there.
Nutty i hope that Master Abbott is better at picking scores and scorers than he is at guessing the age of a certain poster ? [:P]
Thanks also to Diane for her concern on last week''s thread at my lack of current form this season but as she says yes i am here again nice and early to keep up my 100% attendance record to give the pickers an opportunity to browse through their options. Actions say more than the written word hey Diane ? [;)]
Off to Italy and an AWAY WIN in the game Empoli v JUVENTUS.
For the Norwich game City to win both halves.

Very proud to be making the picks this week, proud to be associated with such a fine, worthy cause and proud to be working alongside Jamie.

Watching Jamie’s Game from the Director’s Box was one of the great joys of last year, another fine part of what makes Norwich such a great Club.

Thank you for your kind words Nutty and thank you for continuing to provide such a fabulous, meaningful platform to allow us to make a small contribution to something bigger than all of us.

Hmm...this week’s picks....

Nutty won’t like me loading pressure on, but sometimes you just need a win. You just need to find a way to win.

I love that the board is full of creative people finding other ways to get Nutty money, with great pledges, side bets and challenges....we do need to scratch our pad and take some money off the bookies too though..

To that end let’s be ruthless. Let’s research the most obscure, the most mathematically-favourable, the ones that the bookies would least like us to find and back.

I’m going to let my autistic tendencies run free on this one....👌😊

I was going to do Parma to lose but that''s just bad manners. I''ll stay in Italia though and pick Juve to win at Empoli.

For our game more than 2.5 goasl/Rhodes to score.

Good luck Parma and Jamie OTBC!

Thank you for your (eventual) decency Kathy....😂👍

I wouldn’t have picked it if you’d chosen and furthermore I would have held an immortal grudge against (and would also have stopped talking to anybody I knew, know or might come to know called ‘Kathy’).

Sensitive us Italians.....😂💛❤️🇮🇹

Hmm...for Jamie’s Norwich bet I really think that Todd Cantwell will be on the scoresheet soon, he looks more and more comfortable with every game.

Think he has goals in him with increased and well-founded confidence....👍

Best wishes for Parma and Jamie, great to see we are in capable hands this week.
My selection for Parma is a home win for Walsall (and Russel Martin) v Wycombe.
For Jamie, i think a 3-0 home win for City, wont be easy but if we can get off to a good start we will be fine.
Good luck all, OTBC

The Swiss Super League for me this week and leaders Young Boys to defeat 8th (out of 10) placed Sion.  Young Boys have only collected one point from their previous two league matches, but still have a ten point lead and earned a creditable 1-1 draw with Valencia in the Champions League in midweek.
As for us, we''ve had a real threat from set-pieces recently so I wouldn''t put it past Timm Klose to find the net again.
Best of luck everyone.

I''m also going for a home win for Viktoria Plzen v. Slovacko.

Viktoria Plzen are W6 D0 L0 F11 A1 at home and Slovacko are W1 D0 L5 F5 A13 away.

In bocca al lupo, Parma!

As for the Norwich Bet - Tettey to score any time.

Good Luck, Jamie!

German Oberliga NOFV (Nordost) Sud: Wacker Nordhaussen II vs Blau-Weiß Zorbau, home win @ 1.22 (Bet365).Overall recordsWacker: W6-D2-L2 17/9Zorbau: W0-D3-L7 7/25Home vs AwayWacker home: W3-D1-L1 8/3Zorbau away: W0-D2-L3 3/14    This is a nicely obscure 3rd versus 16th (bottom) clash, with both teams debuting at Oberliga level following promotion.Wacker''s dropped points are a 0-0 at home to Plauen (5th this season, 4th last season), a 2-1 home loss to leaders Chemie Leipzig (1st, relegated), a 4-1 away defeat at VfL Halle (13th, 9th) and a 1-1 away at Inter Leipzig (4th, runners up).Zorbau''s points were earned from a 0-0 at home to Krieschow (6th, 8th), a 1-1 away at Wismut Gera (9th, 11th) and a 0-0 at Ludwigsfelde (15th, promoted).Wacker have home wins against Krieschow, Luckenwalde and Eilenburg, versus a draw and two losses respectively for Zorbau in the equivalent fixtures.Wacker have away wins at Union Sandersdorf, Hohenstein-Ernstthal and Wismut Gera, versus two losses and a draw for Zorbau. Wacker''s 1-1 draw at Inter Leipzig compares with a 5-0 loss for Zorbau.A closer look at the results shows that the odds are perhaps more reasonable than the bookies might have realised.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~For the Norwich bet I''ve just got this feeling that Buendia will score. Other than that, I''d be tempted by an asian handicap of Norwich -1.75 @ 5.90 (almost 5/1).Norwich -1.75 means that a victory by an aggregate of 2 goals would win half the bet (equivalent to win decimal odds of 2.95, ie nearly 2/1), but if Norwich won by 3 or more then the whole bet pays out.

Good luck Jamie and Parma.
