BroadstairsR 2,138 Posted April 23, 2018 Queenies birthday, St. George''s Day, A Royal birth and now, to cap it all Wes Hoolihan announces that he is leaving NCFC; and all these royal occasions in the space of two days.No doubt the birth will grab all the headlines and Wes won''t get a mention, whilst the usual re-scheduling of television programmes has already begun.I was just settling down to another episode of Tipping Point with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit at the ready when suddenly I am confronted instead by some posh-voiced royal reporter gushing in adoration and talking about prima-genita and how the new baby kicks Harry into touch with regards succession. Rows of toadys, three deep, are outside Buck House as usual, some having camped there for the last two months, and the whole country is likely to get pissed tonight in loyal celebration.Ugh!I just hope that Newsnight don''t wheel out Dicky Arbiter this time around. As for Wes? The King of Carrow Road has finally abdicated. Now that is newsworthy.
