nutty nigel 7,513 Posted May 2, 2018 Welcome to Rays Funds, supported by Asset Angels, Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus. So here we are at the end of another brilliant Rays Funds season. You PUPs have been awesome throughout. Not just with all the brilliant picks, which have seen a return of £865 over the two bets, but also in coming up with more and more ways to get money into our presentation pot. This season has smashed all records for the funds raised. On Saturday we presented a massive £2,800 to the CSF for our wonderful Downs Syndrome boys and girls. Here’s a picture which will bring a smile to all your faces : - And you’ll all be pleased to know they didn’t want any speeches that any PUPs just might have made……. So a massive thank you to our sponsors and all you PUPs from me, the CSF and those wonderful DS boys and girls. I know my great friend Arrdee will be looking down pleased as punch to see what you’ve achieved. In recognition of your brilliant efforts CSF Emma has given us a signed shirt : - Most of you will probably remember when we did Rays Funds at the Euros a couple of years ago. I’ll do that again this summer for the World Cup. It will be just a fiver to enter and the winner will get the signed shirt. Watch out later this month for details. Now on to this final week where we have our great friend Lappinitup in charge of selecting the final six. Lapps has been a part of these threads from the very start when we used to have loads of fun with Arrdee. I remember one thread where we all included puns about Norfolk towns and villages. Lapps had me and Ray in fits with his tale about his good lady’s grandmother leaving her a Leather ring set in her will. It’s all here : - http://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun-forums/cs/forums/1197721/ShowPost.aspx Lapps, who’s a previous winner of our profitability league, will once again finish the season in profit as he’s on 24/38 63% at +2.69. He also has a previous win when making these selections as well as 4 wins making the Norwich picks. So I think we’re in the safest of safe hands this week. Lapps asks us all to be kind and tell him what leagues our picks are from so that he can study each one to help him find a winning six. So let’s leave our very best selections from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365 web site. Making the Norwich picks for the final game at Wednesday on Sunday[:S] we have our anonymous benefactor PUPanon. For the last five seasons PUPanon has funded the Norwich picks which not only has meant we’ve raised more money for our DS boys and girls but also more PUPs can be actively involved in final selections. So this is a great opportunity for me to say a massive thank you to PUPanon on behalf of us PUPs, the CSF and those brilliant DS boys and girls. Let’s see if we can find PUPanon some great picks to help him to a personal hat-trick of wins when making these selections. If you didn’t see the draw for the PUPs World Cup Sweepstake you can find it here: - http://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun-forums/cs/forums/3621589/ShowPost.aspx Thanks to Kathy this has added £160 to our new presentation pot. So after Lessingham’s win last weekend we already have £190 towards our next presentation. Have a look at the companies who support our work to raise funds for the CSF and our wonderful Downe''s Syndrome Team of boys and girls. We would like to say a massive thank you to: - http://www.assetangels.co.uk/ https://www.facebook.com/assetangels http://www.turnereuropeanconsulting.com/ https://www.kareplus.co.uk/norwich/ If any other companies out there would also like to support our efforts, we''ll be happy to add you to our list of links on this thread every week. Now I’ll hand the thread over to Lappinitup and PUPanon. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downs Syndrome boys and girls. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Mick and PUPanon... the thread is yours.......[:)]......... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,4, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,6, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,3, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,3, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010,2, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt,2, GMF,3, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy,2, Feedthewolf,2, AJ, JB, PurpleCanary,2, Hoola Han Solo, Diane, Hissing Sid, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £2475 for the Community Sports Foundation. lappinitup 629 Posted May 2, 2018 "Lapps asks us all to be kind and tell him what leagues our picks arefrom so that he can study each one to help him find a winning six".More to the point, it would help immensely if you could tell me which country your selection is from. As someone who''s football knowledge is confined within the shores of Great Britain, it will save me many hours Googling some of these God forsaken teams in the backwoods of Asia, Africa, the Americas and Antarctica. Thanking you in anticipation. [:$]Anyway, thanks for the generous intro Eddie, will post the selections about 10pm Friday. [Y]

ZLF 271 Posted May 4, 2018 After a decent start to the season my recent predictions have consistently failed. Off to the potteries - Stoke v Palace a draw in the early fixture. My ideal bet for city would be for Josh to have more off target shots than Oliveira, but both to keep their top two dominance of the table for most off targets shots in the championship this season (Josh is one short of 50 for the season and one ahead of Nelson) More prosaically my prediction is a 1-1 draw with Klose our goal scorer. AJ 1,218 Posted May 4, 2018 Thanks for another fantastic season Nutty. It''s all good and well thanking us Pups for taking part, but you have to take a large bulk of the credit for keeping this fantastic cause going. So thank you, Nutty - and what a lovely picture to share. It''s great to see the results of what you do here. For Lapps I will go for Juventus vs Bologna. A win puts them within a couple of points of ensuring a league title and at home too.For the generous Pupanon, I will guess at Maddison to score anytime. For the last time this season, good luck all! PurpleCanary 5,554 Posted May 4, 2018 Still waiting for odds on the accumulator, but for the match bet, like Lessingham, I like the look of an end-of-season, happy-go-lucky 2-2 draw, at odds of 10/1.Many thanks to nutty for keeping this fantastic enterprise going, to PUPanon for their generous contribution, and to the companies which have come on board this season with sponsorship.
