To be fair, at least those Neil Adams games were goal fuelled, exciting football. Yes we lacked the defensive discipline and he blew our best chance of going up that season but he definitely can spot a player and get a team attacking with purpose.

Neyul doesn''t get enough credit in general. A good player, the best radio norfolk co-commentator, a great coach, an under appreciated stint as manager where he was let down by some appalling individual defensive errors, and by all accounts doing a very good job as looons manager.

I think Neil Adams has a bit of a raw deal where his abilities have been mocked when in actual fact his only failing is he isn''t cut out to be first team manager. I personally would like to see Adams part of the first team coaching set up.

It is noteable that he hasn''t seemingly made much of a push to return to management- maybe he recognised that is a bridge too far for him?

Good guy with a good coaching mind though. Certainly not his fault he was appointed beyond his abilities.
