Certainly is... A lad I worked with had it and was unwell for weeks. We are definitely a better / harder side to beat with Tetty but liked Thompson a lot before he got injured so here''s hoping

Didn''t it used to be the fashion for families to hold chicken pox ''parties'' when one of their toddlers got it-the idea being that all the others then caught it and got it out of the way early on as its not that much of a concern when you''re only 3, 4 or 5 or thereabouts.

Once you''ve had it then you supposedly have immunity for life.

I had it when I was about 15 and it was not very nice at all-once you''ve got the spots on your face and body you feel fine, its the days and weeks leading up to that which are grim.

If Tettey has caught it in his early 30''s then I''m guessing he hasn''t felt at all well and will be in quarantine from the rest of the squad for some time!

Canute seems an obvious nickname then.

Alan Partridge said those Norfolk chicken were dodgy.

Poor Tettey! But great news for Thompson and Godfrey, surely means one of the two is likely to be fighting for the starting XI without having Tettey to dethrone.
