Klose

Recommended Posts

Since we went three at the back he looks to have been given a roving role when we attack - central midfield, left winger, number 10. How can the opposition plan for that?
Playing with a smile on his face which is great for next season, maybe he’ll stay
He came to us from the Bundesliga...

hopefully that means he''s deemed as a must keep under the new regime

Yeh maybe that Klose cross, Lewis goal vs the Russian''s is not going to be so out of the ordinary.

Loved the way Klose was able to push up and look so assured. He even had a pretty decent shot at one point.

If he keeps this form up throughout the season it would be worth paying his wages for another season if we are going to make a serious playoff push next year.

It''s not just Klose though, the three at the back gives licence for Zimmermann to get forwards occasionally. As long as the other two defenders cover for whoever goes forwards, it gives a flexibilty to the team that offers something a bit extra.

If the opposition play 1 up front against our 3 central defenders then you have to free 1 of them up to step out- otherwise the opposition will always have an extra man when we attack.

Klose and Zimmerman are the most comfortable on the ball so it makes sense it is them breaking forward.
