Grumpy 122 Posted February 15, 2018 That is a really good video. His style of play doesn''t seem to have changed much in all those years. It makes you wonder why he was snapped up by one of the bigger clubs, its certainly a feather in our caps that we managed to get him.
Norfolk Mustard 94 Posted February 15, 2018 He has grace & effectiveness written through him like a stick of rock. How Alex Neil couldn''t see he was (already) ready for the Norwich first team goodness only knows...

Clint 221 Posted February 16, 2018 Re the Man Utd comments, his game and style now remind me so much of Beckham. I''d be very surprised if Beckham wasn''t his hero as a youngster and the Utd shirts seem to support this.
kick it off 1,948 Posted February 17, 2018 I wonder what point his Dad realised that James was really going to make it? Some of his ability and awareness there is so impressive, particularly in the younger age groups - he certainly had a football brain that was far beyond his years even back at 7 or 8 years old.No doubt about it, he is a truly special talent - I really think the sky is the limit for Madders - if he keeps developing the way he is, he will go an awfully long way in football.
