Clint 221 Posted March 6, 2018 Has the fact that Forest played on Saturday and then travelled over here, whilst we had our feet up resting and preparing for tonight''s match been mentioned anywhere?Just that when we play a team that''s had more rest and time to prepare than us it''s usually a good excuse as to why we don''t win. Duncan Edwards 2,219 Posted March 6, 2018 I thought the same.Yet Forest showed such hunger and desire that it took us completely by surprise. We were lucky to go in at 0-0 and after an hour they accepted a well deserved point. Iain Dowie on Love Island would stand more chance of scoring than us. We’re slow, lackadaisical, deliberate and utterly uninspiring. Forest sliced through us at will with a couple of incisive passes. All in all, a point we ill deserved. Until we are prepared to risk losing the ball then we will not score. I suspect most goals (elsewhere) are scored from within the penalty box - which might just be a clue for Farke. Budapest Canary 152 Posted March 7, 2018 You just don''t get these things, do you. Forest''s match routine hasn''t been upset, what obviously worked in their favour, while the cancelled match and the anticipated extra workload later in the month has taken its toll for City. Simple as.
Clint 221 Posted March 7, 2018 Well your post makes no sense Buda so clearly it''s not that simple!
king canary 7,578 Posted March 7, 2018 @ClintYou''re right of course.I''m sure if the roles had been reversed some would have made the excuse that Forest were fresher after a rest.
