Thanks for all the suggestions, I had a good look at all of them and have decided on the ones below. If we can get over the first couple of hurdles then we stand a good chance of winning a fair amount.Fri 23:30  Orsomarso W vs America de Cali W (Colombia Femenina, my pick)Sat 00:30  Tecnico Universitario vs Universidad Catolica (Ecuador)Sat 14:30  Bayern Munich vs HamburgSun 14:00  Juventus vs UdineseSun 16:30  Empoli vs Virtus EntellaSun 20:15  Spartak Moscow vs SKA Khabarovsk

Good luck all.

Looking forward to 93v’s picks, always has interesting thoughts and angles...one of the brightest posters around I suspect..

International Women’s week and a trip to Holland for:

DTS Ede vs Ajax - Away win

As for ZLF’s Norwich pick, whilst there were some more direct balls into channels on Tuesday, I’m thoroughly unconvinced they lead to greater chance of attacking success and I hope Farke continues to maintain defensive shape. Not time to throw the baby out with the bath water.

Tight game, combination Norwich to win, Norwich to keep a clean sheet, Norwich to get more free kicks.

Parma

Looks like I’m a bit late, but I will go for ATHLETICO MADRID v Celta Vigo - home win.

For the match bet I think under 2.5 goals is a safe bet.

Good luck everyone!

Staying close to home I expect Cardiff to beat Birmingham in the Championship - as for the Norwich bet, I expect us to keep a clean sheet against Hull.

Nutty I think he''s referring to Parma''s combo:

"Norwich to win, Norwich to keep a clean sheet, Norwich to get more free kicks"

Not sure if you can do that?

Apologies for the damp squib yesterday. Orsomarso, who I had researched a fair bit, looked quite dominant at 1-1 until the winning goal, and missed many chances to go 2-1 up. They seemed a good choice with a solid set up and an experienced manager.I had flicked through one of Tecnico''s recent matches on youtube and thought that a solid defence and lively attack were worth a shot at beating a side which had a truly terrible away record. There''s often value to be had in women''s football, new managers and newly promoted teams (both the above teams had these elements), especially if you have time to look beyond raw stats and do research.I still think it''s worth putting a higher odds pick or two into the mix, but obviously this strategy has a bit more risk!

No Sorrys 93v. The first two were the toughest hurdles and it didn''t come off for you. The other four all won. You gave it your best and I hope you get better luck next season.
