Bill 1,788 Posted March 19, 2018 An interesting piece herehttp://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/norwich-city-rumour-mill-mackenzie-heaney-1-5440359Which suggest Bryan Gunn is still pretty much ''involved'' with the club, hence this young lad being pointed in our direction. We certainly seem to be getting things right with Colney resembling some sort of clearance house where we sort through promising youngsters to see who can be developed.Which comes back to the importance of retaining Cat 1.I
Bethnal Yellow and Green 1,557 Posted March 22, 2018 Bryan Gunn works for a player representation company, he’ll be ‘invovled’ with every club in the country. Signing 19 year olds has nothing to do with Cat 1 status as that only covers ‘academies’ which are for players up to 18 years old.
Bill 1,788 Posted March 22, 2018 Or involved with other clubs - not every as there are quite a lot of clubs in the UKCat 1 (as above) is not about the ability to sign players at a certain age or from a part of the country, but in this context is about having the level of coaching that can develop players. That comes from the finance being available ie grants and the club''s input.
