Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 11 Week 34

Recommended Posts

Welcome to Rays Funds,

supported by Asset Angels, Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus.

Can’t believe we are at week 34 already. Just six more

weeks after this one! As I said on the end of last week’s thread it’s now a

year since the last presentation which was for £2,000. I thought we’d do well

to ever beat that but thanks to you brilliant team of PUPs the pot now stands

at £2,624. Unfortunately our DS boys and girls only have an away fixture left this season so we''re looking to mark this year''s presentation at their training session at Wensum Lodge on Sat 28th April (10am to 11am). It''s the same day as the Leeds game so hopefully that will suit some of us. If you''ve never been before it''s great fun watching the training[:)]

We’ve got just the right PUP to help us add to that great total with Len

making the final six selections. Len joined us during the second half of last

season and he’s become a real asset to our team this time having picked in all

33 weeks. Len’s already added to the pot with a great win with the Norwich

picks in January returning just over £40 from our game at Bristol City. Len told

us he was helped by passing a lucky fox on an early morning drive before making

those selections so hopefully that fox will cross his path again this

week.  We can all help Len far more than

the fox could ever do by giving up our very best selections from the games on Sat/Sun/Mon of this

weekend that are listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365 web site.

No Norwich game this weekend

so we can concentrate all our efforts into helping Len.

Here’s the rotas for April.

Please confirm with your selections : -

Have a look at the companies who support our work to

raise funds for the CSF and our wonderful Downe''s Syndrome Team of boys and

girls. We would like to say a massive thank you to:

If any other companies out there would also like to

support our efforts, we''ll be happy to add you to our list of links on this

thread every week.

I’m currently wearing odd socks because today is

World Down Syndrome Day. Here’s a great carpool karaoke lip sync video it features 50 mums and their children singing along to Christina Perri''s multi-platinum selling track, "A Thousand Years". : -

So now I’ll hand

the thread over to Len. Remember theres no pressure

because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all

stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports

Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls.

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Len... the thread is yours.......[:)]......

After another "top v bottom" failure last week (Cheers Nürnberg!), you''d probably do well to ignore this, but here goes...league 1

Shrewsbury v Wimbledon - Home Win

Best of luck Len, and all you PUPs.

Great to see some support for World Down Syndrome Day, and more importantly great to see over £2.5k raised this time around to support those lovely DS boys and girls. It is a credit to you, Nutty, for doing such a sterling job for the Pickers that we continue to reach new heights!

For Len, with it being crappy internationals week, I''ve searched high and low and would like to venture into the National League where I''ll back Sutton v Chester for a HOME WIN.

2nd place Sutton suffered a shock lost to Maidstone last time out, so will be looking to bounce back as they currently sit just 2 points behind first and I''m sure they''ll smell blood against second bottom Chester. In the past 8 Sutton have scored 13 conceding 5, and Chester have scored 5 conceding 13. How fitting!

Best of luck everyone, especially Len.

Not an easy week at all Len, will need some serious creativity... in bocca al lupo 🐕👍

Maybe a visit to Spain for:

Real Zaragoza vs Sevilla Atletico II - Home win

Would be quite an achievement to pull it off this week, will donate £25 to the pot if you manage it....👍💪

That''s a fantastic gesture Parma. Thanks buddy[Y]
I do think Len is just the man for this weekend. Len never picks games from the obvious leagues which we don''t have this week. With our help I think Len will nail this[:)]
Len, I''ve got Mr Apples'' selection that he left a couple weeks ago. It''s not listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365 yet but I''ll post it anyway. (in case I forget later!)
Kosovo vs. Madagascar (home win).

Hello everyone. I’m glad everyone else is finding this week tricky as it feels really tough to me.

My best friend is a Grimsby Town fan and he’s in the depths of despair, as they have terrible form and a new, but fairly inexperienced manager. A return to the National League is looking very likely. So, I agree with gingerpele and think Coventry will be too much for them. Home win COVENTRY CITY v Grimsby Town.

Best of luck Len!

As Len is picking late, odds may become available on a couple of U19 games tomorrow - Germany vs Norway and England vs Latvia. And there are already odds on three decent-looking games in the German Oberliga:Schonnebeck in the Niederrhein section.Pirmasesn in the Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar section.Lupo-Martini (probably my choice) in the Niedersachsen section.

I watched some of that, also TGD, and noticed a big Norwich connection, with WFLGH, Ady Pennock, Matthew Bates, and Steve Arnold. Wasn''t the best of games, but what a strike to win it!
