It's Character Forming 1,201 Posted November 10, 2017 I remember midweek games in the 2nd tier moving from Wednesday to Tuesday. I think it was during the late 90s when the Champions League was just on a Wednesday and was live on ITV and I think it was felt this interfered with live attendances at 2nd tier games so they were moved to Tuesdays. This was when City struggled to achieve an average attendance of 16,000 in the league which Neil Doncaster said we needed that number on average to break even.
